Hello. This is my third day on the forum and I must say I am overwhelmed with the amount of help and speediness of responses. I am going to be attempting to run a 12v 8 gauge power wire to the battery for my aftermarket amp in the trunk. I have searched a lot of the threads here but have not found any tips nor any pictures which would aid in removing the driver side kick panels.

Can anyone offer advice? I don't want to break any clips or bend anything so that it doesn't go back firmly. I saw someone recommend this kit:


Is it really necessary?

Pictures would be EXTREMELY helpful as to how to run this wire entirely from the engine to the trunk but I understand that everyone does it a different way and it's time consuming to upload your directions.
