Just ordered my new car

Old car - 2010 Acura TSX

New car - 2015 Audi S3 (not my pic, just for reference)

Don't worry, I'm still going to be keeping the TSX around.

Also, I had to factory order the Audi so it won't be arriving for three months

congrats on your purchase! I bet this is one of the toughest 3 months you're ever going to have to wait!

...and you moved to Florida - or California judging by the palm trees *

Congrats on the Audi - a great car but it will take more trips to the dealerships than the Acura - and the trips will be more painful.

The driving experience will make up for much of that. The Audi interiors are still the best around too.

* yes, I know it is a factory picture

This is definitely the longest three months ever. I want the car now haha.

I'm afraid of the dealer trips too so I'm going to try to find a good independent mechanic to do the maintenance.

Sounds like you're mentally prepared to own an Audi lol. Congrats, it's a nice looking car.

Congrats!

Ironically, when I got my TSX 3 years ago, I switched from a 2009 A3 2.0T Sports to the TSX

A3 was a blast to drive, it's just I had to visit my mechanics more often than I wanted to ... in fact, a LOT more often than I'd like

I traded my 2007 A3 in for the TSX Sportwagon. That was the best car I ever had. Fast, (chipped S-line) practical with the hatch, and reliable. I miss it. I looked at the new A3 and was not that impressed, considering the price it's not much different than my old car and without the hatch and no manual I was just not that excited about it. Find a good mechanic or do the maintance your self, the dealer will want about $400 every 15,000 miles.

Nobody mentioned Audi's infatuation with redesigning all their models every two years so... Beautiful cars but I hate Audi for that

Thanks all. Yes, I'm mentally prepared but my wallet isn't haha. Maintenance at the dealer is always a ripoff and it sounds like it's even worse with German cars in general.

But it's been proven to affect resale value lol.. Especially for people in the luxury line market who typically want the newest and baddest.. Seems like just recently in the 2g tsx and 4g tl forums that a lot of guys are having fire sales and getting rid of their great rides just cuz the tlx is the new now...

I got Sepang Blue Pearl (as pictured) with the Prestige package (nav, B&O stereo, full LED headlights, some other junk).

Sorry Dave. I'm not trading in the TSX, just going to let a family member drive it so I rather keep the headlights It's an easy mod though, don't be scared haha.
