just got a TSX loaner

Hey guys, just got a 2010 TSX as a loaner from my local dealership while the (03) TL is in. I have the car till monday, anything cool I should know about the TSX or take advantage of while I have it?

Also, whats with the S on the transmission, sport mode? I read something about paddleshifters, was that just an option? I didn't notice anything relating to a sequential/sport shift mode anywhere, so unless I'm missing it, it must be..

Thanks in advance, I definitely like what I'v seen thus far of the TSX, how is the 6 speed, who's got one?

Paddle shifters are used to shift from one gear to another like in manual transmission...like a baby form of stick.
It's pretty fun though, I'll admit haha.

The TSX is a great car. There are actually many threads already about the "S" gear so if you use the search function you can learn all about it. It'll probably only take you a couple minutes to search, find and read but it'll lead to hours of driving enjoyment.

I have a '10 /w tech (4 cyl) as a loaner right now while my '04 is getting the power steering hose recall work done. I have to say I like it a lot. If I was irresponsible...I'd buy one...but I shouldn't. I talked to a sales guy and he offered a '10 /w tech to me for $37k and change out the door. Seems a bit steep to me. At least it keeps me from buying!!

Maybe I'll look into a CPOed one in the near future...

I just picked up a 2010 TSX base w/ 6sp manual yesterday. I also have an 03 TL w/ 110K miles on it. Love driving both cars. The TSX with the manual is a bit more fun to drive. It's also a newer car... Acceleration of the 2010 TSX w/manual is roughly the same (for me) as the V6 2003 TL; TSX handles a bit better. The V6 is smoother but the TSX I4 just loves to rev it up. Going with the manual made a big difference to me and made going down from the V6 to the I4 less noticeable.

Enjoy the TSX while you have it!
