And by the way I'm SO glad I did some research because I was about to put some BlackMagic Wheel cleaner on my wheels! I even bought the stuff at walmart! Holy crap I would have ruined my wheels.

I'm really digging the wood inserts on the center console. It really dresses up the interior - the overly plastic nature of which has been a pet peeve of mine on past second gen models. The only question I have is: why oh why doesn't the supposedly more upscale tech model get the wood as well? I'd be getting a tech model next time if I get another TSX when my lease is up in May, and a plastic console in the tech instead of the wood the base model has is an issue for me.

Aww buy a tom tom doesn't have 10gb to store your music does it have radar overlays right over the map or xm traffic rerouting or does it let you set the audio channel or disc track you want or does it set your climate functions by voice all for the quality price of $300 bux?

I have a funny story...

I worked in car audio for Circuit City and an elderly lady came up with her son and daughter. She wanted the best navi we offered. I asked what she drove (09 prius w/ navi). She didn't know how to work it. I smiled and told my boss that i'd be outside. when i showed her all that system would do then i taught here how to you it, it was like she had bought the car all over again.

I know tom tom/garmin offer good systems but they are NOTHING close to Honda/Acura navigation systems which were a one time the best stock system of any car brand.

Yeah I did lol. I'm not sure what else to get. Does the 2010 Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer have enough UV protection?

Also, what would you guys recommend for the rubber at the base of the window sill? That is the #1 spot that needs the most UV protection imo. I learned this with my last car.

What about the rubber at the base of the window? Especially the exterior rubber. Critical care imho.

by the rubber stuff, do you mean the styrofoam-looking soft-touch material that's beneath the windows? i use 303 aerospace on that as well. interior-wise, i use 303 Aerospace on any nonleather surface. i do use aerospace on my steering wheel though. for the leather surfaces, i use lexol cleaner and conditioner. i do this usually every 3 months. i have 70% tints in the front and 20% tints in the back windows. you should tint your windows because they'll protect your leather.

Guys so how do I protect the outside rubber near the base of the window?? Aerospace 303 is no good for exterior protectant since it wears off quickly with the rain.

I really think that's the most important area of the care to protect. It definitely needs UV protection.

Deisun, congrats on the car! I'm thinking about buying a base 2011 6MT within a few months.

I'm curious, what do you think of the steering feel in your 2011? Specifically, what's the weight/effort like when making turns? For examples, when slowing down and turning into a parking lot and when accelerating on a banked turn or on-ramp?

Thanks. Well, that's really hard to answer. I like the way the car handles a lot. The weight of the wheel while turning feels good to me. It doesn't feel too loose like some cars and it definitely isn't too tight either. I guess you'd just have to try it out and see if you like it.

Overall the car handles very well and feels very racecar-like with the 6MT hehe. It's definitely a fun drive.
