i'm getting a '11 TSX Tech soon

i've decided to trade in my one year old Mitsu Evo MR for the TSX Tech, already finalized the price with my local dealer. i changed job recently, the longer commute is really taking a toll on the Evo and myself. i was cross shopping with the IS250, the stuck up attitude of the Lexus salesmen really turned me off on that brand, besides IS line will be redesigned next year anyways. oh well, look forward for me to ask a ton of question, especially on modifying the suspension.

yup..shopped for a IS250 at first. but the salesmen, like u said, had a very bad attitude, kinda like looking down on us for buyin the cheapest model. (instead of going with the 350 or something higherclass)

lmao i had the same experience with lexus. the asshole didnt know wtf he was doing and was trying so hard to rush us with the sale. in the end we were really turned off by the service and as for the car itself we thought the rear was kind of cramped but we ended up being quite smitten with the TSX.

good choice.

that being said, i got a ride in my friends IS-F today...and it was awesome but for different reasons

I would never buy an IS250 just because it has a foot "hand" brake. Those brakes remind me of old American cars, and minivans.

darn it, local Honda dealer just emailed me with a quote for a '11 Accord V6 coupe EX-L without navi for 25,500. is the TSX Tech really worth 5k over that? decision decision.

I came from 08 EX-L Navi 4cyl Accord coupe to the TL and it's a nice car in it's own right but the leather is higher grade. The VGA Navi in tech Pkg is nice as well as HDD and ELS stereo. Are you into nice audio or does it matter? I liked the Accords stereo (270watt) but the TSX's (410 watts) is awesome.

Well, comparing 'like for like' (ie. non-navi TSX) the price difference is closer. One thing I'd consider; ask youself why you're trading the Evo? Which of these two would be better at avoiding having to sell after a year?

thats a deal! Add a xenon pnp kit and your all set

test drive both and see which you would be happier with

the tsx is more exclusive and the tech package is awesome
