Does anyone know if the taillights on the 2011 TSX will fit on the 2009 model? I contacted a couple of Acura dealerships today and they both said that the taillights are the same size and shape on both model years. However, they didn't know if the bolt pattern to mount the lights to the body are the same.

Only way I would do a swap is if the 2011 were LED Tailights.

BTW, can't believe they still didn't add LED Tailights to the TSX yet.


As for the Pink color in the taillights, not a fan as you can see them in the older USDM accord's. That doesn't belong anywhere near a luxury sports sedan IMHO.

I saw them in person the other day. They are not really pink. They are best described as clear with a little bit of reddish tint to them. It actually looks quite striking in person once you get used to it. The new light lenses plus the new chrome strip lend a slightly more upscale look to the rear of the car. It works for me.

on page 2 now. Anyway, some pics of the car i took and shows rear lights etc. I'm still trying to figure out all the "PINK" talk. I don't see it.

 

The reverse lights and the turn signals on the rear lights are pink.

It's in my garage and my response is NOT. Perhaps you see pink and perhaps i don't. But WTF? Car's great and i've asked when driving etc. nightime etc. and no PINK votes so far. But who cares. I don't.
The one outside light area i'm still trying to decide thumbs up or down, are the front fog lights and chrome look surround cover. Jury in my home's still out on that one.

 

maybe it looks pink cause of lighting in that photo. regardless, i think we definitely need a video of your rear lights

 

i was at a acura dealer ship the otherday and saw the 11's. not too bad actually, but rear is def. pink lol. i was driving behind one

 

Swap lights for the LEDs, tint the reverse and signal, problem solved.

 

I would love LED taillights for my 09 TSX, but I don't know where to find them - or if they even make them.

 

Don't get me wrong, I love LEDs, but aren't they kind of played out unless available stock?
