How often do you drive in Sport mode?
Just curious to see how often people drive in Sport mode?
Can you drive in Sport mode 100% of the time without any issue? Is there any reason to not drive in Sport mode all of the time?

reason not to use it is gas. your RPM's will be 2-3K higher in the same gear at the same speed in S vs D. your mileage will die

Burning Brakes
There is a potential for you to shift at the same points as the fully automatic mode and get the same mileage. There's not much fun in that.
A poll for this question would be nice. I use manual mode when towing. j/k
I don't use Sport. I tried once on a different TSX V6, the car jumped into 3rd and the V6 roared in anger.

When I feel like enjoying my car, I put it into S mode, *and* I tap the paddle shifter to make it full manual. When I'm tired and just want to relax, I put it into D. I'd say it's 60% S and 40% D. It's fun as hell driving the twisties in manual, holding it at 5K RPM and punching it.
It really is a drain on mileage though. After 5k miles, my average MPG is 18, probably a combination of city driving and using S.

Everyday I'm rofling
I feel like I get the same experience when I put it into S mode compared to mashing on the gas in D. I don't use sports much anymore.

I drive manual, so I'm in sports mode as soon as I start my car.

Only in life threatening situations where I need all the help I can get merging or passing. These cars are putt-putt mobiles. And with FWD and no rev matching on downshifts, I've given up on trying to squeeze out any 'fun' from them. Decent transportation is what they are about, nothing more and nothing less. And they do that job pretty well, I think. Especially the wagon which gives added utility.

Anyway, it's not a negative thing as far as I'm concerned. These are decent cars for what they are. Hey, I'm just being honest and realistic. If they (e.g., the wagon) had AWD or RWD and either a manual or an auto with a few more extra cogs, and a motor with some guts and some real world usable low end torque, then I think they could blow away the Germans in the same segment. Even if they did have the same MSRP, they'd still sell, imho. A lot of people want performance but with Japanese reliability. They're willing to pay for it, too. (And all of the above can be options and with a lower cost basic model still available alongside as a bread and butter TSX for Honda.)
In the meantime the advantage is a Japanese built product with a relatively bullet proof motor, low cost of ownership, and reliability. And that's a good thing. But they aren't designed for real aggressive driving. And that's okay, too. After 3 months with my wagon, it's good basic transport that I don't have to worry about maintaining and potentially breaking down.
(btw, with the way the yen has been moving up in value, this will no doubt be the last of the Japanese built Hondas/Acuras for sale outside of the Japanese domestic market. Which is also why there's currently such little choice in options for the North America bound TSX.)
