Hit a pothole and caught a flat?

So i missed my initial left turn which eventually led to me hitting a pothole and catching a flat. My tpms went off a minute after the impact and the tire pressure started decreasing from there. I managed to drive home call acura roadside assistance. The guy comes and jacks up my car from under the bumper. I'm a newb so I had no idea there was a jackpoint under the front bumper? I read the manual and I only knew of 4 jackpoints. Is that a usual procedure? he jacked up the car from the front.

Secondly, he inspected the rim and tire inside and out and told me there was no damage to either. He saw no hole or anything. Isn't that weird? People always said that a flat tire caused by a pothole are usually deemed junk...i really hope I dont have to buy a new tire....

Yes, there's a jack point for a floor jack in the front (actually you will see an arrow pointing at it).

Assumed you have put on the spare temporary tire to get home. When you hit the pothole, the tire may have hit with a great force that if deformed, broke the bead and let a bunch of air out, so it's possible there is no other damage to rim and tire. Pump the tire back up with air and see if it hold air pressure constantly for a few days, take note if there's any vibration on the wheel which can indicate a bent rim or damaged tire.

Good luck.
