Anyone know what the type of bulb for the 09 TSX for both the headlights and foglights? Is it the same as the previous generation TSX?

i currently dont own the 09 and i want to order the HIDs for my fogs and also some LEDs for my car, because I will be going to the dealer tomorrow to finish with the deal

The 'base' Canadian model doesn't come with HID's, but I love the look.

Is it possible to just switch out the bulbs, or is the whole unit/housing and wiring different?

Even just HID high beams only would be good.

If it is just bulbs, how much are they?

Might find them on ebay too, I guess.

You need the whole headlight assembly plus the ballasts and bulbs. Not cheap. The USDM TSX has regular halogen high beams unfortunately.

The HID for the 09 is D2S bulbs.. foglights.. i dont know

There are many HID kits available mate.

Low beam is H1 and high beam is HB3.

I have been thinking seriously about converting both low and high beams, 30w for lows and 55w for the highs.

I recommend a good quality brand like Philips. They might cost a lot more than chinese ebay ones, but they have a ton more quality to them also.
