Question HALP! body damage need tips

2010 grigio

"clipped" wooden stairs

Trying to get info on best way to treat this myself as much as possible, i have color matched touch up and a decent amount but have little expertise with auto body. any tips?[IMG][/IMG]

looks to be paint transfer from what you hit. have you tried rubbing it off to see if it comes off a little?

rubbing compound or gojo fast orange hand cleaner to remove the transferred paint. Now is a good time to invest in the side skirts to cover up the lower damage. But it maybe cheaper to have a bodyshop repair & paint the dent.

i rubbed it a bit with a cloth its kind of dug a bit but will be doing more, will post pics.
