What's up guys? Recently purchased an 09 TSX Tech. I can't find a lowering kit to save my life. Anything out yet? Also, are there clear front turn signals out yet?

BTW: looking for a pretty big drop. Car looks like a monster truck stock. Also, any wheels with an offset that doesn't make the wheels look so narrow in the body of the car? Love the ron jon wheels.

Yea, i just saw that. Only an inch drop? Rear needs like a 1.75 inch and front like 1.25, IMO. No coilovers yet?

 

It's actually more than an inch of a drop.

 

I like the front stance of the TSX in the Ron Jon ad. Is it close to that?

 

no, no coilovers are out yet.
RJ's pictures are photoshopped.
no, there's never been clear turn signals available
for the TSX, you need to buy whole new housings.
such as JDM housings from Japan. and no, those are
not available for purchase yet.

seems Mugen has a suspension kit out probably, but it
doesn't lower the car much, it's similar to an Acura A-Spec drop.
Tein is working on coilovers now, shouldn't be long before they
have something on the market.

as for rims, well you can put whatever you like on.
nobody knows how low you can push offsets yet on the 2nd gen
nobody has tried yet.
you can probably get down into the 30's.

if that car in your picture album IS yours...it actually isnt too bad, some cool and interesting set ups.
but of course, the owner of the car seems to be a doubtful question still

 

I'm pretty sure it's his... I remember asking him how to remove the interior trim and he knew details that most likely only someone who did it would know... plus I have noticed other hints that suggest he owns the car.

Although I wouldn't put it past some people to just scam all the way (i.e. removing trim instructions can be found online) I don't think Life Dies is one of those people. Yes he can be anti-social but he does make some valid points sometimes. I think I understand where he's coming from as I can somewhat be a Jekyll and Hyde at times as well...

Does your TSX have one or two reversing lights? We only have one on the Euro Accord - seems a bit cheap.

I am not sure about the lights. I have never been brave enough to put my car in reverse and look.

haha i am with you on that, i always think black rims only looks good on a black or white car lol.
i do love the black out window trim tho lol

 

Rims are not black, fyi. They are 3 shades darker than the color of my car. At the right angle, they match the color of the car.
