Got a new TSX Wagon..now what?

So I got the '11 TSX wagon last weekend in white and I love it. I really like the interior details with the blue LED lighting and the nice wood trim on the base model. Drives very nicely and is super quiet on the road. Proud to say we are now an all Acura family with a 09 TL and this new 11 TSX wagon. So my question is, what are the popular mods people are making to the TSX/TSX wagon?

Picked up my hitch for the bikes last night, will put it on tonight. All my other accessories are factory. Clear bra goes on either this weekend or next.

Thanks for the suggestions! I think the interior LED conversion and clear bra sound like good ones to try right now. For those that asked for pictures here goes:

Wow, this is growing on me more and more. I like it in white too. Good luck with all mods. Mainly cosmetic things seems to be the rave right now. Not sure how much of the performance mods will match up. Haven't looked much in to the wagons, would most of the engine mods match up? Not sure suspension would but please someone step in if I am incorrect on this.

With that said Welcome to the forum and Congratulations on your new Acura.

Do you have the Wagon or the Sedan? I have a Wagon but can't find a company that makes a hitch.

FYI: No mods on my Wagon w/Tech, but I did add:

- Tinted Windows
- Body Side Molding
- Splash Guards
- All Season Mats
- Cargo Tray
- Cross Bars (although I only put them on when I need)
- Rear Bumper Applique

I have a wagon, went to put the hitch on this evening and the sides(height) from the lower bar to the frame plates are about a 1/2" too short. The frame rails and holes are the same but it appears that the spare tire well is deeper. Also, the hitch sits right at the tow loop in the middle.

Bummer. I reached out to a few manufacturers in late January. I heard back from CURT that a hitch for the wagon is on the "engineering list", but they had no ETA. (I just sent another email tonight to see if they have an update.)

There's a local shop my dealer referred me to (in Cincinnati) that makes custom hitches. I will likely look into that as well.

Consequently, I don't plan on towing anything. I'd just like something for a bike rack.

I spoke with Acura before I bought the car and was told that the chassis was identical between the sedan and wagon. Hidden Hitch (Draw-tite) show that their hitch fits "all" models. I called a local place that carries Curt, they called Curt to see if they had a hitch for 2011 since their website does not show anything and Curt said that the 2010 hitch would fit the 2011 so that is what I ordered.

Bikes are the only thing I will be using the hitch for as well.

I have only ever had 3M on my cars, the shop I used to use only carried 3M. The shop I used for my last car carries both but I went with 3M, I will ask him which he prefers, the difference between the two and why when I speak with him.

Thanks! I believe they are painted rims, but I'm not too sure, here is a close up shot of the rims (sorry for the link, can't add pictures yet)

Rather than derail this thread, I will create a thread for the hitch. I spoke with Curt this morning and will be going over the dimensions on the hitch I have and what dimensions are needed.

Same for the Clear bra question.

It's a good close up but it doesn't really represent how different the finishes are from last year to this year.

Get ready for the downpipe I'm working with XLR8 to get made for the 2nd GEN TSX/8th gen Accord 4cyl. Should gain 7-10hp before the exhaust. Check out the thread on it in the 2nd gen TSX forum and vote if interested. Gorgeous car bro. Time for tint .

Congrats on the wagon. I love mine, and I'm sure you'll like yours even more the more you're on the road with it!

I got the base wagon 3 months ago and love it. My smartphone takes care of the Nav and my ipod handles the tunes. One hack I'd love to do, however, is to add the tail-gate motor and control...it's the only piece of the Tech-Package I really miss. Someone out there's gotta be doing it as I speak!
