Got crashed into, about to start repairs, would love some tips.

Got rear-ended at a red light on saturday night. Bumper, undercarrage and exhaust got the worst of it. So today is Tuesday and they will start work on Monday. I have till then to figure out what I want.

So far, I know I want to get the Sport rear bumper instead of the stock one. And I want to get an exhaust that is equal in price to the stock one, i assume around 1k, but thats not rice-rockety, If anyone knows a good website or a good company that would be great. Im also gettin the spoiler from acuraoemparts.com. If anyone knows a cheaper site that would also be rockin. Other than that, Im going to paint the front grille black and change the plastic grille to mesh. Some window tint, nothin crazy, 50-40%... and most importantly I want Tenzo R Type M 19" black rims. Version 1 or 2. If anyone knows good websites...

Will put up pics when everything is done.

So heres my question. Since this TSX uses basically the same engine as the last TSX, shouldnt the exhausts be virtually interchangable.?

How badly is the exhaust/muffler damaged? Can it just be pushed back in place? if so, you might just need to replace the tips.

that looks pretty good. at least its not the silver chicken wire that some people use. how much did it cost for the 3x4 of mesh? what type?

i paid like 90 bux. something like that. and it stainless steel. got a really small-squared one but it was too thick to work with so i had to get the thinner version (bigger holes). dont remember what exact number it was but its pretty fine. ill take a more detailed photo this weekend.

Nice I had the rear sports bumper installed back in September also when a street vendor dropped her flower cart and damaged my trunk, lights, fender and bumper.

Normally not a fan of wired mesh grill, but yours is nicely done. Try to post more pictures after your tint job.

Very nice indeed

What percentage is your tint? Did you do only the back or the front also?

I like it, I couldn't really tell until the last pic that is was mesh and not expanded metal. I know you're glad to have it back.

Ohh I'b been dying to get it back. Had a garbage Mazda 6 rental for 3 weeks and a slow ass Accord for 3 weeks. Cant wait to go for a ride tonight.

I tinted the rear windows and back with 20%, and i did the 2 front window 35% or 39%, dont remember which one the guy used. I wanted it to blend well but not be too dark in the front (i get pulled over enough).

Now if someone could just tell me 2 things. If i were to get 19", what kind of dimensions do i need so it doesnt stick out of the body. Also, is the TPS monitor guna be on forever if the rims dont have TPS. or is there some way to jerry rig it

I like the mesh grille. Gives your car a fresh look and is something different. Subtle and professional. I probably would have left the chrome, but that's just my taste.

Either way hats off for turning around a fender bender into something new.

I definitely like it. Might give me a little project to do if I don't want to spend too much. I wonder how it would look if you left the grille stock.
