Man, your car scares me. I keep hoping it's that way because the previous owner abused it. But your problems are all over the map and that points to an overall quality control problem.

I think this idea can be possible with the PAC TR-7. Some people are using this to do the auto window roll up thing with their factory key fobs with the TR-7. Its basically a programmable timer. It can be programmed to output a 6 second ground output with a double tap trigger. In other words, double tap your rear window switch twice and the rear windows will roll up automatically. The TR-7 is so versatile that im sure this can be possible.

Here are two links in reference to the Keyfob window roll up/down thing. Basically the same idea for the rear windows. I believe all the needed wires are at the main switch in the drivers door. If you google "PAC TR-7 windows roll up", you will find more. However, this guy at the rx8 site made it simpler.

Hmm. Just gave the data sheet a quick read. That's an interesting little module.

Like you say, I think it could be made to work. I'm not 100% sure it would be possible to do an OEM type "one-touch" activation, but certainly the double tap as you mentioned should work. Seems cheap enough to play with as well, less than $20 from Amazon.

Good info!

One of these days, when I have a bit of free time, I'll crack this nut...

Im also hit with very little free time. Im going to do the keyfob window roll up thing when I have the time. Its just like the KP technologies window module for Honda/acura but its a lot cheaper and can do more things once you know how to program it.

Ooooh I'd like to have the 4 window FOB roll up option!

That's already an add-on module that was discussed early on the first page. Look up the KP Technologies thing. It's darn near plug and play and gives you 4-window rollup from the fob, just like the double press and hold roll down.

Did anyone ever figure out what wires you need for the kp technologies module to work in the second gen tsx?

Ok so I couldn't help myself and I went ahead and programmed my TR7, figured out the wiring in the master switch and I was able to do it. Two flicks of the switch and the window went right up.
So it's confirmed.

I still want to do some more tinkering before posting wire colors.

You're talking about from the driver side master control switches? How about down? And does it work from each of the rear windows or would they each need a module?

Yeah the drivers door master switch. I only got it to go in one direction per module and each window needs a separate module. It's a good start.
You can probably use one output wire to roll up/down two or more windows. The master switch uses thin gauge wire so that tells me that it uses a multiplex module somewhere in the car.

There are a combination of ways in using this module. For example, you can have one module control both rear windows in one direction and use a second one for the other direction.
Also I think introducing relays into the mix opens a whole different line of options.
It all depends on the creator.
I even thought of adding a custom button for "one touch" all down, or up using a rocker switch or momentary button.

I just came across this thread

I was told to do the folding mirror mod, you need euro switches so I bought all 4. I tried to add them as is and the rears don't work at all, the fronts work but on auto up, they close and then kick down 1/4 of the way.

Honda makes different variation of these switches, tech, non-tech, wagon, base and every combination in between. (for remote trunk, remote hatch etc). I bought the wagon tech ones I believe. I will have to recheck.

Anyway Manny did his remote mirrors with some rewiring, and they didn't work, but we he added the euro window switches, everything worked.
(He is still waiting for rear switches as his usdm ones don't work anymore)

I will sell the euro switches if anyone wants to make them work.
I paid $150 for all 4 +40 if you need the bezels.

Damn it. Looks like I'm going to have to find my own way of auto folding my mirrors.
