Well an easy way of doing it would be to hook the fog light circuit up to an Ignition source. The fog lights would then turn on whenever you turn the car on. That way they would be on whenever the DRL are on, as well as the headlights. If you actually want them hooked to the DRL circuit, I'll do it when I install my remote start soon and let you know. I'm sure this has been done many times...

Yeah I'd be down to rewire the lights as well. Would you by any change be able to have the option of 1. turning on the foglights with the DRL's on and 2. having the foglights turn on with the DRL with the yellow (flashers) running light on as well? If that is a yes, I'm going to change my DRL out to some pure whites. =)

anyways, sorry, off topic mates.. hey AC415, are you allen chen? Vanessa's old dragonboat coach? She told me you just picked up a tsx..

Your DRL will stay on until you turn on the headlights so turning on the parking lights would not cause the DRL to turn off. So you would be running DRL, parking, fogs. At least that's how the DRL work in Canada.

IMO I do not see the need to turn on the fog lights during the day time, if its foggy outside you should have your headlights turned on with your fog lights same time anyways.

That's like saying, there's no need to have DRL on when it's a bright and sunny day.. Hell, I wish the DRLs wasn't even on! BUT!!

You're right, there's actually no need whatsoever. The fog lights itself does not even create "better" visibility during foggy weather, rather just there for decorative purposes. However, a couple reasons why a person (like myself) would be interested in that option would be, for decorative purposes. It looks damn good running DRL with fogs. The foglight running in the daytime would be a complement to the DRL.

YUP! That's pretty much how it works here! I'm also interested in the cleared corners on the Honda Spirior coming out in China =)

Side note, it's very easy to disable just the DRLs, just pull the DRL fuse in the fuse box in the driver foot area. You will not get a warning light at all, and this works for my 2009. I don't like to run my nice aftermarket High beams at low-voltage DRL since it will decrease the brightness of the bulbs when I do use them.

Good to know! I was worried pulling the fuse might throw a light or something similar.
