Fog Lights

is it possible to have the fog lights turn on when the drls are on during the day, and still have them on when the low beams turn on. basically have them on all the time to unless everything is turned of.
or at the very least be able to turn the fogs on and off at anytime, not dependent on the high beams.
anyone try it yet?

so i did a little research, i found that people have separated their fogs from their low beams on the 3g tl. and i hope that car isnt much different from hours.
a lot of good stuff in this thread :https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/can-you-rewire-fog-lights-turn-during-parking-lights-3g-garage-g-029-a-588918/

i am trying to link my fogs to the parking lights instead of the low beams. that way, they would still turn on with the low beams, but i can turn them on with out the low beams too. and that way i also wouldnt have to worry about accidentally leaving the lights running.
anyone have an idea on how to do this on our car?
thanks

so i finally update my fogs with 6000k led bulbs. but i think i failed. haha
i was able to install the drivers side bulb easily, however, my brother was installing the passenger side bulb, and we could not get it in. we got the bulb to line up properly, notches in the right place, turned it, and the bulb notches go over top of the housing notches, but maybe a centimeter, but we could nto turn it the full 90 degrees. so its just at that point, it feels like its in tight, but im afraid if i hit a bump the bulb will pop out.
i requires so much force that while turning it, i broke part of the housing on the bulb.
anyone else have this trouble? and what are the chances of it popping out. its an led bulb so im not too worried about it breaking.

from my research, i found it to be fairly straight forward. correct me if im wrong.
the fogs are currently on a relay switch with and indicator wire running from the low beams to relay switch. cut that indicator wire and tap it into the wire for the parking lights.
this way, you wont need any extra switches, the stock fog light switch will still work, only when the parking and/or low beams are on. the fogs will turn on when the parking lights are turned on, thus they will also be turned on when the low beams are on.
and since there is no new switch, and the fog light connection is still through the relay, you wont have to worry about accidentally leaving the lights on when the car is off.
make sense?

i do not think the car is any different from the 1st gen tsx. The body is the only difference the wiring should be the same
