Favourite feature/aspect of your TSX

With all the unreliable threads, etc, curious as to your favorite part of your TSX that you guys like. Here is mine in no particular order:
  • Tripmeter sets to 0 by itself after fillup
  • Rear power liftgate
  • Mirror tilts down when in reverse
  • Rear wiper automatically turn on in reverse
  • When you step off the brake, front wiper (when on) wipes right away
List some of your favorite things about the car

  • Trip-meter A automatically resets to 0 after fill-up. (Couldn't get this to happen in the RDX or MDX)
  • Able to roll windows down with remote
  • Able to set the drivers seat very low (I'm tall and like to sit low in the car)
  • Firm nimble driving dynamics
  • After 6+ yrs car still looks good
  • Paid-off (No car payments Woohoo!)

Favorite: The 6-spd manual paired with the k24 on back roads, great headlights, and high way fuel economy when i'm just cruising.

My favourite is the styling/looks. I love the way the car looks, and I feel like the lines are very well done. But that's just me lol

Sliding arm rest! Perfect placement for lazy 6spd driving.

Simple and easy location of the oil filter. Hated oil changes on the Si.

I bought mine in November. So about 6 months. I got 18 months and exactly $18936 left.

I love the sliding arm rest. However, if I move it too forward, then it impedes my coffee cup.

I haven't done an oil change yet (at 40% now), but will check it out when time comes.

Thanks!

For me:

-Windows/Sunroof open with remote - perfect for hot summer days.
-Trunk has a lock mechanism in the glove box which disables the trunk open button. Makes it harder to hijack my subwoofer.
-Back-up camera.

Didn't know that about the trunk lock. Wonder if that is sedan only. Will check it out. Thanks!

Yeah the sunroof/window open is awesome. I had a 2002 Mini Cooper S JCW when it was new, and that car had that feature, and it was amazing on a hot CA day.

Pretty sure the trunk lock is for the Sedan only. Makes it so you can't access the trunk from outside or by popping it from inside.

Not possible with a wagon since you can just crawl back there from inside.

Looks, dual nature of the car (can leave it in 4th and quietly cruise or put it in S and so some spirited driving), and the seats are amazing.

^ "S" is only available on the performance variation. Same version that gets you racing shifters on the steering wheel. Just like F1.

Only Noobs and Poors shift their own transmissions...

The fact that every single one of my friends (including MB/BMW/Audi owners) test drove my car, every single one said "Damn, you have a nice car." And I paid way less for it brand new than almost all of them.

I may sound really stupid... I've had my 2010 Tech package TSX for about 9 months now and I can't get my windows to roll down with my remote and my arm rest doesn't slide front to back.

My favorite features are the looks, USB port/media features, how comfortable the entire car is, and the MPGs.

Press unlock button. Press unlock again. Press and hold unlock. Keep holding it... Don't let up. Still holding. There- windows should roll down.

Armrest: grab the latch under the front lip like you're going to open it but slide forward instead of pivoting up.

If neither work, try rebooting and reinstall windows.

I've tried that window thing before but I'll try the arm rest tomorrow. Can't wait to see what else I've been missing out on...

However, I read on a diff thread, as long as Bluetooth audio input was selected, I could talk to Siri, but that wasn't successful on my one try today.

Really good for sure, I have two Ipods, and now they can both charge while driving, a most excellent scientific marvel.
I haven't loaded a stick to try it yet, but on my bucket list.

Another aspect I really like (this isn't anything special to the TSX, but rather due to my last Lexus hybrid), is love the range/capacity of the tank.

To get 450-475 miles before filling up, is heavenly.

I assume you're doing most if not all highway driving? I get like 350-360 till the light comes on.

Yes, sir.

I bet I could easily break 500, if I didn't have these huge mountains that I need to travel through, and if I kept my speed lower .

80-85mph constant when on highway. House is .8 miles from highway. All 3 hospitals I use the car to get to, is .2-.5 miles from the highway.

So total my car sees a max of 2.6 city miles in a 50 mile roundtrip.

You have to activate the "Hey Siri" feature in settings. It is not on by default. You also really have to shout at her to get a response haha.

I believe so. I think that's been pretty standard on all Honda vehicles for years now.
