Engine running lean

I installed an after market intake that has been sitting for a year in my storage , I forgot to clean it & have to it but it threw a engine code & says engine is running lean Could be cuz the air filter on intake is dirty or old? I appreciate any help thanks

Lean means too much air and not enough fuel

Did you create a vacuum leak when you installed the intake? And did you damage the MAF or position it differently?

Why did you install an aftermarket intake?
