Engine Code

I was curious if my 2013 TSX still has the k24z3 or a different k24 model than the 09-12? Google didn't help and I didn't see a thread on this.

^its the same engine.....

there are two engines.

the i4

and the v6.

they didnt change anything in 2013.....so, you have the k24z3

Same engine. Apparently the ECU has changed though.

Yea i checked wiki but it never confirmed 2013, and I wanted to assume it was the same as the 09-12 but it seemed like a lot changed. Thanks for the backup!

I just became curious as to what those changes are. did the output (hp & torque) improved?

I have no clue, I don't plan on modding this one since it is a lease, so the performance wasn't really a concern. But it feels pretty healthy for a 2.4 liter and it pulls this pig of a car around pretty well

was the 09-12 sluggish compared to the 13? I haven't driven the 13 tsx but i've driven the 13 ILX 2.4 as a loaner and it's quicker... but only because it's got a lighter chassis.
