Door edge guards
We make the with paint protection film for our customers and that works under most circumstances. They would only last a couple hits against brick or concrete. Eventually they wear through, especially if the door is against the wall as the owner exits the vehicle and the shocks decompress. Maybe a better idea would be to put some kind of cushion over the bricks where you park, like one of those noodle pool toys or a strip off an old garden hose.
I've got the 3M door edge film--much better than the bulky OEM door edge guard. My garage is narrow and I was always worried about scratching my cars before installing this film. It's similar to the 3M clear bra that many people put on the front of their cars to protect from rock chips. Best part is the package was enough to cover 2 sedans (8 doors total).
