Does anyone else have a problem with people hearing them via bluetooth?
Does anyone else have people complain that they can not hear you when they talk on the bluetooth? I have the I-phone and have the volume all the way up and I try and speak loud and clear but always have people complaining that they can't hear me. It has gotten to the point that my fiancea refuses to talk to me if I am on the bluetooth and everyone else complains. It has got to the point that I have to transfer the calls to my phone and it gets annoying cuz I transefer then they pick up and I have to transfer again.. Is there something I can do so they can hear me better?
I do aim my voice to the interior light (I think thats where the mic is)
ANy help?

I also have the iPhone but my problem isn't the other person hearing me as nobody has ever complained to me about that...it's me being able to hear them. The incoming volume always seems to be far lower than what I actually have it turned to. If I turn it all the way up, I can hear them fine, but then the beap for the bluetooth prompts and the automated voice is crazy loud and often times will frighten my 14-month old if he's in the back seat.

make sure you have the volume on the iPhone itself (not just the car's volume) turned all the way up while on the call...i had this same issue when i first got the car and then noticed that the BT system in the Acura doesn't disable the volume control on the iPhone itself.

Actually my bluetooth is working okay. I can hear other people well and the other person can hear me well too. When I have passengers in the car, sometimes we are all talking at one time and the listener on the other end can hear all our voices clearly.

Maybe I just need to get my hearing checked.

I think it depends on the phone. My BlackBerry Bold sounds great but my wife's Sony Ericsson has delay/echo when speaking. The incoming volume sounds good on both phones though.

I used to have terrible connection quality on both my 2G TSX and 3G TL with my Motorola Adventure. It always showed up as in roaming mode. I recently got a Motorola Droid, and now no more roaming and everyone tells me that the connection is crystal clear.

Just got a new 2010 TSX and I can't hear the caller very well. I have an iphone 3G with the bluetooth volume on the phone all the way up, and I still have to crank up the car's volume so high that I hear a high pitched whine (sounds like digital feedback) and the voice guidance becomes so loud I'm sure the neighbors can hear it.
Didn't have this issue with my 2006 TSX.

i have an HTC touch diamond and a 2010 TSX non-tech. i keep the voice volume anywhere between 14 and 16, and i can hear anyone, and they can hear me even if i speak at a normal volume.

Try connecting a different phone (preferably another Iphone if ones available for apples to apples comparison) to your cars Bluetooth and give that a shot. If it’s better, the blue tooth communication coming from your iphone is defective. If it’s the same I would let your local dealer know what you did to test it and have them check out the cars hands free link system.
