Do you wave?

Do you wave at other fellow TSX'ers? In FL we have nice warm weather a lot, easy to drive with the windows down. I try to wave at other TSX'ers even if they aren't modded but they all seem to be dick holes. I want to ask this forum for a helping hand, I wanna be able to wave to other TSX's and get a wave back. We can spread the trend across the country! It'll be awesome! So start waving to other TSX's!

I gave the "whats up" to another lowered TSX on the i95.
The Subaru community is very friendly, any Modded SUbaru got a honk and a thumbs up. But it seems like when you look and appreciate a modded Acura they take it as "grillin" or "mean muggin" So i tend to stay to myself.

3G guys REALLLY stick to themselves. so us CU2s are on our own

I give a thumbs up to anyone that looks like they appreciate and care for their car. There are so many Acuras in my area, though, it's tough to acknowledge all of them. Especially when 4/5ths of them are treated as utility/transportation.

3g Tl's are usually fans of other 3g TL's...

4g TL's are elitest bastards...

1st gen tsx owners point and laugh at our front grille...mumble look at that boat!!!

and the few 2g tsx I see are usually old women or men in my area... but I will wave next time I see one

Yes, perfect... any acknowledgement! I know motorcycles wave, and vette owners too. I'd just like to see more TSX people welcoming other TSX owners. Even if its a grandma! Plus, everyone likes nice people on the road.

Haha, don't be so negative.

The grill can be modified to your liking (HeelToe, CF, etc).

Despite my disagreement with the direction they took the 2nd gen TSX, I do respect the 2nd gen owners' good taste deciding in purchasing a nice balanced luxury sports sedan in which the 2nd gen TSX definitely delivers on!

My brand loyalty to Acura has been thin as ice lately due to the overly progressive exterior design in their entire lineup despite their amazing reliability and high tech features.

I got more looks when I was driving a loaner ZDX that I've ever gotten in my CU2s. I guess our cars are just too bland to the general population.

I feel like the only people I see in 2g tsx's are old farts. I will start waving to everyone though! Being friendly is always a good thing. Whenever I see fellow cu2s the first thought that goes through my head is "we are brothers!" but then when I see them they are old and boring.

Yeah, you'd think with the few CU2s that are not driven by old farts, drivers would be friendlier. I think I've seen 2 other modded CU2s in the Bay Area. One of them is the girl I occasionally see when I go to work in the morning who just ignores me. Another was one I passed by very quickly one time, might even have been an Aziner.

I wonder what are the demographics for this car...

I usually see old people. but one time i was driving along side a VBP and CBP driven by like what looked to be 20-something year olds and we were all smiling waving and shit. then we started hooning. then they heard my intake, and they just kinda looked at me...lmfao.

I tried that once but I don't think the idiot noticed I was driving the same car. He just looked confused.

I see lots of old white women driving them tho...LOL

and recently. not sure if this is just my area or not, but a lot of african americans seem to be buying new Acuras lately. the only time i ever saw a real ZDX and new RL (during that month they only sold like 50 of them too!) was african american and like 50% of all the 4th gen TLs.

I've had my '10 TSX V6 for almost a month and a half now and it's rare that I even see another 2G TSX in my area. Still haven't seen another TSX V6 since I've owned mine. A girl rode by me the other day in a 2G TSX and I was going to wave but she was oblivious to my presence while yacking away on her cell phone.....not even using the Bluetooth feature....for whatever reason. I would love to wave at fellow 2G TSX drivers if I could ever see them.

DUDE, me too lol... It's so sad I can tell a 2g tsx 1/2 mile away just cause of the headlights haha. I think to myself "The fraternity of brothers is growing" I have a few people who just never pay attention around my area but the more we wave or thumbs up the more people will catch on!

That always puzzles me. You see it all the time with high end cars. Are people that stupid or their phones that old?

I do not wave nor do I acknowledge I am an elitist bastard.

Forreals tho the 2G TSX's I see are driven by old people in my area. The only people that seem to notice my car is people with modded 3gTL or 1g TSX.

Use to do it whenever I took my G35 out, but G35's here in LA are a dime in a dozen...and most G35 drivers are also surprisingly woman...who do not pay attention to the road or let alone other G35 drivers.

haha well put! I've actually had numerous 1st gen TSX drivers speed up to me, turn and look at me, then cut me off...My tsx is lightly modified with tints, dropped, detagged, and both res taken off. Probably smirking at me thinking why would I want to modify my car.

I do not see a lot around my area in NC, but when I go to Atlanta they are everywhere with a wide variety of drivers. I would wave if I could or give a thumbs up.

ON the same note, I'm the only one at my job with a 2G TSX, or TSX period. Out of over 400 people, there are at least 3 to 4 4G TL's and a ton of 3G and 2G's, and even a RL, but no TSX's. Makes me feel special.

freakin old people. the only people who should own this car are awesome dudes like us here, and hot chicks. now that would be a friendly community, we'd all wave and hold our hands out the window to give driveby high fives.
