Decisions! decisions! HELP! Another TSX Dilema...ugh!
1 Month into the task and the closer it gets the crazi-ER. I am getting (or tryingto get) a TSX which will either be 2009 or 2010.
Here are the specs
2009 TSX Silver/Ebony
39,600K miles
$21,200 All In (Out the door)
or
2010 TSX White/Ebony
21200K miles
$24,500 (OTD)
Certified
Now my preference is silver, but do not mind white at all (subjective). I am more concern with the best value for the money, and this one will be a keeper for a few years. Financing - not a decision making factor. They are both base and will be for a while, and will not be accessorized much, except for maybe rims and suspension and a lip spoiler. I have read PLENTY about both these cars to the point my head is going to explode. I am a bit concern about the 2009 because it may seem to be the less attractive choice from the best deal point of view (price vs TMV) and cuz of the ppl who had reported some problems with rattling and pimping, but the color maybe my #1 choice and the price is cheaper of course. However, no certification. and on and on..... this why I am going nuts and decide to post. I guess to try make my choice easier.....or maybe not!
thanks for the 2 cents.... and appreciate any input from current owners as to how good (or not so) this car has been to you.

09 Is Slightly Over Annual Mileage
10 Is Slightly Under Annual Mileage,
It's a year newer & Certified. I think the bit of extra they're asking for the 10 covers certification. A piece of Mind. So think about it that way, && at that point you'd be getting a year newer with 18k less miles.
If the mileage differentce was less I'd chose my favorable color, But you have certification & More than a years mileage less.
+1 2010.
Besides. PWP is gorgeous.

LOL your is one of my fav post when I started this hunt. I have to agree, and that is what I am leaning towards. Is just some people are of the opinion that Certf has no real value. I kinda differ but I have never had to deal with so i don't really know....It does add piece of mind. I believe the remaining time is like 24 months (or 27) vs 4 month remaining of the original one for the '09....
Anyways on a side note, how bad is it to keep the PWP clean though?. I am a freak when it comes to that, yet down here it could be less of a hassle...no snow ;-)
thanks for the input...

So far so good, I've only had my TSX for less than a month. They replaced a blown speaker and gave me a new key fob for free.

I'm actually buying the car 1hr away from home (if is the '10) and the '09 is at some Honda dealer. In any case I do have a dealer 5 min away which is great at servicing....

that works ^^^ hahaha
or get the 10. i wouldn't go for the 09. i have the 10, and the minor bug fixes, plus lower mileage and certification is worth it. and when you do decide to sell it, if you do, you'd get more for the 10 than the 09

The thing about the color is really so F@ HARD!! (subjective anyhow)....for real some days I'm feeling the silver, and some I'm all about the white....
My CL-s now is silver, and so it was the previous (01' GSR). But these two were the Satin Silver (BEST silver ACURA ever had).
Now Palladium is kind of an off silver so... in general I like silver, but maybe is time for a change.....
I do like it tho....
Nothin wrong with PWP btw, I think has potential

Pyro has a point there....And according to some website I once landed on, the '10 is no part of the batch with the pimping engine going by the VIN#....

I just bought mine last week and had a similar decison. 2009 for a few thousand less or a 2010. I agree with pyro, and the warranty swayed me decison.
For price comparison: I bought a 2010 V6 tech with 6500 miles for $27,000.

assuming you have good credit, buy new and take advantage of 0.9% financing, with factory warranty. Can't beat it!

so you're basically saying you're bankrupt, but you're wanting to shell out $20k+ for a relatively new car?

yup...Found it with almost 5k miles, nice deal too. Dealer loaner, since I even found a couple of rental agreements in the glove. Fortunately, the car is almost flawless, and I say almost cuz the dealer people did a pretty bad job at keeping the car cleaned properly outside (what else is new)...nothing a good clay wont take care of!
I really like it big time, specially the gas saving! OMG that's sweet!
...and it worked out to be the color combo I wanted.....After 11yrs of Silver/Ebony I was so ready to switch back to white...
No disrespect to silver of course!
