Did you get the OEM hoop reworked and skinned?

Quality looks decent from the pics. Style isn't my cup of tea, but pretty cool you got it done if it's your style.

Post up the final install pics when you're done.

This actually looks really good. Maybe a bit much for a TSX, but great nonetheless.

if you dont share where you got it from/who did the work, it's a lame post.

Some people don't like sharing. Especially "unique" work like this. Although, reshaping and reskinning a wheel can be done by any number of shops local or via internets so it wouldn't be too hard to replicate.

Or maybe homeboy just doesn't stop by much and he'll spill the beans his next time through.

Or maybe not.

I go poke through the Dallas Custom site every few months...

Out of curiosity, what sort of numbers were you getting from them? I have an old Nardi that I'd like to get recovered some day.

Looks like he cut out the center mounting points of a factory wheel, bought an ebay leather race wheel of smaller diameter, trimmed out the center of said racing wheel, trimmed a bit of the outer fat from the factory center's outer points, took the outer grip part of said ebay wheel, and mated the two. Finished product looks better than I expected, but the smaller diameter throws me off to the look, the factory stuff in the center looks a lil stuffed in now with the wheel being smaller now IMO... Nice unique and subtle mod though if this is your cup o tea...

i can look for mthe emails but they were starting in the $300 range for a recover with perf leather and any color thread. any changing of the grip was not included.

Sorry for the delay guys, I had Ivan from DCTMS in Santa Clara, CA help create the wheel and had sonic Motorsport install it. What he did was order a spare oem wheel off of eBay and remolded and rewrapped that one. Cost came out to be $800 since this was his first CU2 wheel to rewrap.

Doesn't look like it has red stitching. It wouldn't match my interior.

Yes it's just like the stock wheel except for the perforated leather on the grips. A couple hundred more to get exactly what you want is the right move.
