Current real-world pricing for TSX wagon?

Coming up on three years with the CTS-V. It's a blast to drive and I love it! Even so, it's time to buy something a little more fuel efficient.

I almost pulled the trigger on a TSX wagon a year ago but pulled out at the last minute. There's a thread on it here somewhere.

The wagon is attractive to me, the price is attractive (I can sell the V on my own, pay off what little there is on the loan, and with a small outlay of cash I can own the wagon outright....means I can put more money into savings for retirement), and the mileage is attractive. After three years, I'm about done with 13 mpg.

If I don't pull out again, I'll likely be buying in the spring sometime.

With that in mind, what are people actually paying for the TSX wagon?

Thank you. I'm thinking blue, tinted windows, and RonJon Revs. I'm trying to decide on Tech or non-tech to save a little more money. Don't really need a navi with an iPhone and Navigon app....

Hey Neuronbob-
Having had our wagon for 6 weeks and 1600 miles, we love it. The V you have is going to be hard to part with.
To your question, we paid $30,091 plus TTL for a 2012 CBP wagon, NO tech. We drove wagons with both tech and non and I just couldn't justify the price spread (rarely use nav, if so its on my phone and also think the stock stereo works great, and I think some of the other features aren't things I would need as well). Bought in 2nd week of December, so not sure if that played a factor in our price. If you have any specific questions about the wagon, let me know.

In MD, paid $35k out the door in Decemeber for a new 2011 tech wagon, with crossbars and side molding. it was the best deal out of three dealerships that I could find.

Thanks for the comments so far. It sounds like there is not much movement off MSRP. Though two is a small sample size, this does confirm what I've seen on TrueCar and CarsDirect.

m13, you are right, it's not easy deciding to part with a car you like. And I would definitely miss the torque. This is what led me not to pull the trigger last year.

Thinking more, I'd more likely go for the tech as it has a rear view camera--I have a five-year-old I need to be able to see. However, I could just outfit the non-tech with Acura's rear bumper sensor system for only a few hundred bucks.

Ron, glad to see you're still doing wheels for Acuras.

yea, the tech has the power lift gate as well which i use daily.

I tried my best with haggling on the price. Im even friendly with the owner of one of the dealerships, and he gave me the best price he could. They are so rare and hard to come by for the dealers, ive been told, that they dont feel they need to drop the price to get it sold. One of the dealers told me they only produced 2,000 of them last year? if thats right, thats not alot

Picked up our TSX Wagon w/Tech for $32K which is under dealer invoice. We are at about 5k miles on ours and our running average since new is 27.8. We've gotten as high as 33mpg on a couple tanks and the worse is 26 mpg.

That's a good deal. Seems much like endless' 35k OTD price. Dealers here are moving minimally off MSRP, which is why I asked my question. If I could get a deal like yours, I'd move today.

'11 TSX Sportwagon non-tech was right at $29,000 in November. MSRP was $31,200 I think?? '12 would have been about $1000 more.

Good luck in your search , Bob. I myself love the Tech package. It's worth it to me, I use the camera all of the time, parallel parking is a cinch with it. I've had NAVI's since my 99TL and would never leave home without one IN the dash.
