I will soon be the owner of a new 2012 TSX Special Edition/6-Speed Manual/Crystal Black Pearl.

My dealer is locating the car for me. I put down a deposit about 2 weeks ago and probably have another week or 2 before I get it.

I can't wait! I've been looking at pictures, specs, and even the PDF owner's manual to pass the time.

I'll be upgrading from a 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe/6-Speed Manual.

I did the same thing going over pdf manuals before picking up my car. Makes the wait more bearable.

^There were no 6MT Tech model in BC back in May 2008, the dealer had to pick one up in Red Deer, AB, put it on a flatbed to Vancouver. So I asked for the owner's manual (paper version) and spent a week reading cover to cover.

There's no 6MT Tech model for 2012 either. Only way to get 6MT for 2012 is Special Edition. I usually don't go for the Tech Package anyhow.

Nice dealer! They really wanted the sale huh? Mine only had 23 km's on it--I think it only went back and forth on the trailer and whatever they need to do with the PDI...only beef I had the day I picked it up was some residual clear adhesive on my paint from the protective film they put on the car during transport...only came off when I waxed it

Congrats, I put a deposit on my 12 tsx se a couple of weeks ago. It's being built on Nov 18th and they said it would take about a month to get it here after it's built.

Just checked my stats, last visit "You last visited 05-05-2005".

ARGH! This wait is torture.

The dealer couldn't locate the car locally, so they had to special order it. I got word today that the car has been built and it's in transit. And I have the VIN #.

Looks like it will be my Christmas present.

Oddly enough, the special order will take the same amount of time, or slightly less, than my Altima Coupe from Tennessee.
