Changed oil using the oil extractor
I bought a Pela Pro 14 oil extractor a few months back and finally had the chance to use it on my TSX V6.
It took about 10 minutes to extract the oil (using the tube with the smallest diameter) after driving around a bit to get the oil warm and to get the dirt particle resuspended in the oil.
The marking on the side of the extractor showed a little over 4L of oil was removed from the engine (manual stated 4.3L is the oil capacity for the V6).
I guess the rest of the oil was inside the oil filter because once I replaced the oil filter (Mobil1 M1-110) I had to pour in 4.3L (I bought a Mobil1 5w20 4.4L jug) to get the oil to reach the max marking on the dipstick.
The oil filter was easily changed by turning the wheel all the way to the right and access through the passenger side front wheel well.
It was easy, quick, and no mess!
