No, it will not work. You also need the DVD drive that goes in the trunk & the Navigation disc itself. Not sure what else, but it is not as simple as a screen swap.
If you do end up going the OEM route, I would search for a 2011+ Nav system because they are HD based and don't use the DVD drive + you can save music onto the HD.

From what everyone says about changing the system in an Acura with Tech, sounds like it would be pretty complicated.
Either way, I agree with ISeeYouTwo, if you're gonna pay someone to do it, go with the newer Nav. The screen resolution just triumphs the old one.

You have to change out basically your whole electrical system behind the dash. New wires/connectors/buttons. If it is doable it will not be worth it. Thousands of dollars and the biggest headache you will ever have lasting for years trying to get it to work correctly.

You're better off getting an aftermarket system like what most non-TECH guys are doing.
1) The OEM nav is mediocre at best. One reason being, you need to pay for nav discs to update maps (if you care about new roads). I also hate it because of various other things I won't go into. This is just my opinion though.
2) From what I've read (and what rawger is saying), guys with the TECH package have a more difficult time upgrading to an aftermarket system. I suspect the reverse would be the same; installing the OEM TECH Nav into a Base/SE would probably be difficult as well (EDIT: what opboarding said).
If you wanna be a little ballsy, get an aftermarket double din unit, and a double din bezel/adapter in place of all those buttons. I think CU2_Dan has a thread showcasing something like this.
1) It looks awesome.
2) If you want touch screen it's the perfect spot for a touch screen unit.
3) You have a base model. The screen you have at the top incorporates the HVAC/bluetooth information. If you delete the buttons and install a double-din unit, you would not lose any of that information. With a TECH TSX, the HVAC/BT info is on a separate LCD screen that would either need to be relocated or deleted altogether, if doing a double-din install.
I went pretty much way off topic by suggesting something you're probably not even interested in. So...
tl;dr
It's probably not worth the effort to install the OEM Nav into your base. It won't be easy, it'll likely be expensive because OEM and PITA, and I find the nav mediocre at best (I'm a TSX TECH owner).
