My car hit the 1000 mile mark last week which it where I set the end to the break-in period (even though the manual says 600 miles), so I started driving it like I normally drive instead of the 55-60 in the right hand lane (which was absolutely killing me - LOL!)

My commute is 40 miles each way and I do it daily. It's not the easiest commute on a car b/c it's pretty much stop & go traffic for the 1st 20 miles in the morning and stop & go periodically on the way home. When it's not stop & go, I'm definitely cruising. My car drives fantastic, but ever since I started really driving it, I notice that there is a light buzzing noise from under the hood on the passenger side when I park it in my garage at night (and periodically in the morning). It's not loud and I only noticed it b/c I walk by that side of the car to get into my house.

I was wondering if anyone has an idea of what it may be. My BMW used to 'decompress' when I would get home - everything would settle as things shut down making some noise - so I'm wondering if this is just the TSX's way of doing the same thing. I don't think there is any issue - I'm just curious as to what the noise could be.

thank you SO much. I did search the forum before posting, but nothing hit for 'buzzing' - didn't think of the word, hiss

makes complete sense. the first time I heard it last week was when I had the cc set to auto and the a/c kicked on to cool the interior down. It's been so warm here the last few days that I had my defrost on last night and the auto setting kicked the a/c on again this morning.

I am being paranoid about my car just like everyone else - LOL!
