Bump steer 14 TSX

Hey guys does anyone have bump steer? I feel as if my steering wheel pulls left and right going over uneven roads, alignment tire rotations and pressure at all good. Now the wife drives it so I don't know if she hit a pot hole before. I'm thinking it may be a tie rod or lower ball joint. Car has 16k miles.

A bent tie rod would show up on an alignment. A pot hole would more likely result in a bent lower control arm or spindle, though.

When was it last aligned? What type of tires? Is it lowered or does it have any suspension modification?

I have a lot of bump steer with my 2011. I figured it was due to me lowering it but who knows at this point. It seems worse with my aftermarket wheels/tires than it does with my oems. I haven't been able to pinpoint the cause yet and just have dealt with it.

hey no mods Bone stock and it was aligned last year after the pothole, funny thing is on smooth roads it handles great its certain uneven roads it never use to do that.

last aligned in Feb last year and problem has existed since, acura said all suspensions parts are in good state.

I'm assuming you have stock tires? I'm not sure that what you're describing is bump steer. Its most likely some sort of tracking issue related to an alignment or tires.

I'd have the alignment checked again. A year is a long time...and they may have either gotten it wrong last year, or they overlooked a bent component. Bent components aren't always plainly visible.

If your alignment print out shows a large lack of caster on one side, for example....it may be a bent part as a result of the pothole.

Caster issues can result from an arm bending backward and can cause wandering over uneven surfaces.

I do not have any excessive bump steer from my lowered wagon with stock tires, blizzaks, or 18" Conti DW's. Your alignment may be off.

Yeah the funny thing is thr alignment was done at a Acura dealer but they never gave me any paper work. I think I'll revisit and alignment and see what it says then look at suspension parts from there. Your right it may be a tracking issue
Thanks

Toe is the only actively adjustable angle. The caster and camber follow the toe passively.

Unfortunately, if your caster is off significantly, you'll need to play "find the bend" lol.
