Angry Body Shop recommendation in Burnaby BC area

Hi,

Sad news my new 09 tsx just got rear ended on my way to work..and it sucks because my car is only 10 months old. Can anyone recommend any good body shops in the Burnaby BC area? Its 100% the other guys fault so cost is not an issue. I want the best quality paint matching possible. What are your thoughts of Donn Dean Collision or B&M Auto Craft in the Bby my area? Thanks

Try Kirmac on Lougheed Hwy, they repaired my previous ride which was a 90 Civic Si and did an excellent job. BTW, you may want to look at replacing it with the sports bumper which comes colour matched already, just pay the difference between ICBC and the body shop.

NO1 collision repaired my ex GF car which was hit pretty hard. I had a good look at it after it was done and, because I worked at Burrard Autostrass I knew what to look for. The repair work was very good. I would recommend Burrard Autostrass but when I was there they didn't touch anything that wasn't BMW, MERC, Rolls, Ferrari, Lambo etc. Try them first and see if they will take your car. If not, NO 1 collision on Burrard and 2nd or 3rd. Burnaby is not that far from these shops. That is of course, if you want the best.

No 1 collision specializes in BMW (Europeans cars in general) ...do you think in terms of color matching etc they will be able to match the paint on a Acura? I think I did use No 1 collision once in the past on my Jetta and was happy with the work. Also what kind of car did your ex gf have? My car is the polished metal metallic and i concerned with color matching. Thx

She had a silver 02 Protege 5. So I think they may be ok with your car. Silver is a tricky color because if you are not careful it is very easy to get tiger stripes on the car. I stay away from light colors for that reason. The paint match on her car was perfect. Call No 1 and see what they say, I would be surprised if they didn't want to do your car. Burrard Autostrass on the other hand would probably chase you off their property. I generally stay away from the big guys because they do a lot of ICBC work and as you know ICBC's repair standards are UNACEPTABLE. And that's a fact. I've experienced this first hand when my 05 GSR was written off in an accident which was not my fault.

For Burnaby either Gord Rons or B&M Autocraft...but the best is either Korva world class or Burrard Autostrasse

sorry for bumping an old thread but was wondering what is a typical autobody's warranty on their paint job. i had my front car bumper replaced and painted by B&M autobody 4 years ago and now its starting to see peeling now.

do they usually offer lifetime warranty on their paint quality?
