Does anyone have info on blue side mirrors for tsx? Im looking to replace the glass itself or just trying to tint it.


It usually comes standard on european cars like bmw, mercedes benz, audi

defconskylude used a blue tint on his a long time ago. He said it made the reflection a little blurry.

 

do you know if anyone is selling the mirror itself?

 

the TSX did not come with the blue mirror.
i dont think any one sells it.


the 3rd Gen TL does have the blue mirror, but its a different shape.
i think defcon exhausted his search for the blue mirrors and just decided to overlay them, but as opboard mentioned, they're blurry.

exhaust your options. you might find something that defcon missed

 

look into sprioir in chinese market and of course accord euro everywhere else.

 

I looked as well, and even the blue tint he used does not exist anymore.

 

If I have time this week, I am going to put some of my cheap ebay red vinyl that I never used on my mirrors to test the transparency. If it seems to work ok I'll probably buy some cheap blue off ebay. It's only $7 for 1'x2'.

I was thinking about glass stain, but not sure how to go about it.

Im going to get my windows tinted blue, but asked if they would do the side mirrors and they said no!

 

You could just buy some film online and tint it yourself.

 

Someone buy some generic light blue window tint on ebay and apply it. This way I don't have to waste $8 if it looks weird.

 

I will try it, EVENTUALLY when the weather gets better. Ill let you know once i do, do it.
