Blown Speakers - HELP

So one of my rear speakers is blown. Surprise, surprise. Anyway I use balance and fade to isolate which speaker has crapper out.

When using balance to figure out which side was blown I kept getting a poping sound when the balance bar 'crossed' the centre line on the balance control from left to right.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't this indicate 'dirty' power?

Boosted was nice enough to offer to replace the speaker but realized that I had a Canadian car.

When I called Campus Honda to have it replaced the guy that deals with the warranty stuff tried to suggest I was putting too much base through the speakers. Knowing Campus Honda, this line of questioning is their way of getting away from having to continuously replace the speakers under warranty.

Does ANYONE on the inside have any info that suggest the Tech has a problem with the speakers?

Unless I'm missing something there is only one page worth of threads about it.
I thought there was more on it in the general thread section but I can't seem to find it.

A lot of the threads seem to have been archived but if you do a search, you will be able to find them all...TONS of people experiencing this. And unfortunately, the TL Tech is having the same issues (there are current threads in their forum about this also). I have had to have FOUR speakers replaced (both front and both rear doors) thus far and I am still not totally satisfied w/ the sound...little "gremlins" appear and some days one of my tweeters will sound blown, the center channel speaker will sound buzz-y...this too leads me to believe it is more of an amp and/or wiring issue vs. solely the speakers themselves. I NEVER push the limits of the system so it's definitely nothing being done on my end...

Oh and I need to have the XM Module replaced now too.
