Blown Speakers - HELP
Blown Speakers - HELP
So one of my rear speakers is blown. Surprise, surprise. Anyway I use balance and fade to isolate which speaker has crapper out.
When using balance to figure out which side was blown I kept getting a poping sound when the balance bar 'crossed' the centre line on the balance control from left to right.
Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't this indicate 'dirty' power?
Boosted was nice enough to offer to replace the speaker but realized that I had a Canadian car.
When I called Campus Honda to have it replaced the guy that deals with the warranty stuff tried to suggest I was putting too much base through the speakers. Knowing Campus Honda, this line of questioning is their way of getting away from having to continuously replace the speakers under warranty.
Does ANYONE on the inside have any info that suggest the Tech has a problem with the speakers?
