After 5 Accords... I thought it was time for a TSX!!
Just picked up my new 2010 (leftover) TSX tech!
I've been on for years and am glad that I can come here now with my new TSX...
So, any mod suggestions? Car is pretty nice as-is and its a lease, so I can't get too crazy... but would tinted windows hurt me on a lease when I turn it in?

Congrats on the new ride. I've had my 2010 TSX AT/I4 since last June. I still love the car. I came from an 07 before as I leased both of them. You can tint the windows with a lease. If you put custom wheels on you will want to take them off before returning. I wouldn't mess with the engine though. They do an inspection at the end of the lease. They are pretty easy to work with but I still would not add anything to the engine. I think the engine is fine the way it is. You can only go so fast as the roads seem to be getting more crowded. I open the Vtec up when I can. I think you will be pleased with the way she handles. Enjoy!

Congratulations ... you will love the TSX. A lot better quality than the Accord. I had 4 Accords before picking up a 2008 TSX, which I just turned in last week .. .. and bought a new 2010 TL ...
TSX is the perfect all-around car, for the quality, size, gas mileage and performance.

I've been eyeing the TSX for quite some time. Maybe that's why I had a 2008 and then a 2009 Accord... Tried to make both into the TSX, but it didn't quite work. Nice cars nonetheless, but just not quite an Acura.
Good info on the tints, glad to hear. I thought that might become an issue at the turn in, but then again they didn't say anything about my accord on the trade in (I was buying that one though).
Not big on engine upgrades. Never had LED lights. What's the cost on those? Are they the bright white lights?
And the wheels... Not a huge fan of the I4 wheels, but they'll do. LOVE the V6 rims, but I hate trying to make the car look like something it's not (think civic DX trying to look like an SI), so I'll probably make do with the stock ones.
Thinking about a remote start. A local company told me they'd install it and then take it out for free when the lease is up to be transferred to my next car. Then I only have to pay installation fees on the next car (of course that's probably 75% of the cost!)
Thanks for the welcome... Glad I'm finally here. Looking forward to a fun 3 years!

Congrats and welcome.
Don't worry about the V6 rims, its standard equipment in Asian and European Luxury model Accord. V6 is only available in North America, they have 2.0L and 2.4L Petrol as well as 2.2L Diesel engine elsewhere. Bear in mind those 18" rims are pretty heavy.
Agree with others, tints and LED will be a good place to start, then may be upgrade rims or CAI later on.
