3G TL drivetrain into wagon?

how doable would it be to swap J35+6spd into the new wagon...?
sad they don't offer V6 wagon.

my bank account is nowhere close to doing any mod more than DIY-able,, but i was just curious because that imaginary car would make me so happy.

1. power & fun - even my 3.2 auto is fun
2. cargo capacity - wagon
2.5towing capability (lol don't flame over this, it's not the topic here)

3. passenger car handling (i rented a E250 with 3000miles and i hate ford. ew ford. i'd rather drive GMT800 if i had to)
i love odyssey handling but only relative to other minivans. IMO VW don't even come near honda in minivan handling fun, let alone toyota nissan and dodge(lol i love chrysler but their van sux) hyundai(kia) was okay but now they discontinued it.

4. passenger car driving height. i really dislike high cars. and by that i mean me being high. i'm only 5' 9" but my seat is all the way down and real men don't need to see the hood to determine how far away the car in front is.

5. OEM ECU, because i dislike the narrow optimization of aftermarket.

anyone want?

with money, you can swap a ls motor into the wagon and make it rwd, then make it a transformer and turn it into a robot that makes sandwiches for you

Maybe once there are 10 year old (minimum) cars available, but until then, why would you even consider destroying the resale value of such a nice car? If you want a higher performance wagon (of which I'm a huge fan by the way)(had a 68 Chevy Belair wagon with a factory 427 and TH400 once. What I'd give to have that in the garage again....), suck it up and go with a Benz or a BMW.

Getting a J35Z6 in there shouldn't be much of a problem but having 6 speed maybe lol

I don't see the point of this thread...I'm sure almost all of us have voiced our opinions of having the TSX configured in ways we want, including a 6MT V6 Wagon. Anyone on this board would take one in a heartbeat....

I'm just saying. And also, while putting all that energy into a J-Swap and 6MT conversion, might as well throw in a RWD platform as well, just saying, since you know, whoever decides to do this will have a most probably fullly dis-assembled wagon in their garage...

As cool as all these "wants" are for the tsx, I dont really see the point. The tsx is what it is. Why spend thousands of dollars in parts and an unimaginable amount of labor/tuning when you can spend the same amount and get a pretty high end wagon? I know you(and all of us) really like the tsx but I'm sure you would get over it pretty quick with a brand new higher end car to take its place that better fits your needs.

^^AGREED! why spend all that time, money, energy, etc, when you could just get a better car. I love my tsx but I don't see the point in a converting it into something its not..unless you have ofocoarse time, money and energy to waste.

Up until the last week I haven't noticed any of your threads, but the two I've seen are, well, not traditional. Anyway, you know that GMT800 is every full size GM chassis. I'd rather have an Escalade over an E250 as well.

As much as I'd love a RWD TSX, it just ain't gonna happen given the Honda sideways engine layout.
