B12 service is replace oil, inspect brakes, rotate tires, replace air filter and inspect drive belt.

So in total it should be around $30ish
Do NOT pay $398....

and btw VR1 how much did you pay for your spoiler install?

Whats the fox exhaust... all i could find is this
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Acura-Tsx-09-10-11-12-13-14-Tsudo-SP2-stainless-Cat-back-Exhaust-w-test-pipe-/281723294177?hash=item41980451e1&vxp=mtr
Actually it i tried to remove my muffler to see how it'd sound... the flanges have literally fused themselves together. I guess from the heat? I'm sure my downpipe will be near impossible to remove if i ever get the rv6...

I had to cut the bolts and nuts of the cat to get the RV6 down pipe and strait pipe on. There was no way the nuts were coming off.

So what did you do after that? drill out out and tap in new threads / new bolts?

So when I did the down pipe I cut the nut heads off the stock cat and left the studs in the stock head because I was putting in the RV6 header. And I also broke off one of the spring bolts while taking them out. The RV6 header does not come with 3 new nuts and bolts to hook up to the stock car so I just went and bought some. It does come with all the gaskets.

Just a little infor on the RV6 strait pipe. It does come with 6 new nuts and bolts so I used all of them so the would all match. And took out the ones I bought. Also for the studs and nuts that connect to the cat back on the stock exhaust I cut off the back of the stud and not the bolts because I could not pound out the stud that is left behind in the stock exhaust. So the only way was to cut the back of the stud off to get it out.

Major pain in the ass to do and I did this on the ground with a cutter.

Sorry for the long answer I hope this makes sence ! If not ask away I will try and clear up any parts I can.

A lot of heat + impact worked for me, otherwise I would have been screwed.

I invested in a Craftsman Cordless Impact a few years back. At the time it seemed like all I was doing was suspension and wheel work. The battery has lost its juice, as I can only remove 4 lugs before it looses torque, but it has done its duty.

Replacement Li-Ion batteries are expensive. Almost better to buy a new kit than the standalone battery itself.

Hey what's a fair selling price for our CU2 cat back exhaust, given these aren't hot items and there's nothing in the blackmarket for me to use as a baseline? Someone wants to buy mine to chop it up for a project.

because they really dont depreciate, you could probably sell it close to brand new.

$300-400

Of course you have a choice.. Go to Walmart.. Buy a 17mm wrench.. Drain pan.. Oil and oil filter.. And cabin air filter (ALL can be found at WALMART) and do it yourself. And save yourself about 300+... Smh kids these days

If you insist on being lazy Tire kingdom would do all of that for less than 100 bucks. They rotate tires for free

Probably should've planned it out better, but I'm leaving Thursday on a road trip to my college, out of town till tomorrow evening, told my dad to drop it off and take a loaner tomorrow. If I had known earlier the price I def. would've done it myself beforehand

There's an ancient thread somewhere about the Fox exhaust. They tried to do a group buy but I think it failed due to not enough interest.

Two offerings:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fox-Duplex-Sportauspuff-Honda-Accord-8-CU2-Limousine-Tourer-ab-2008-1x114mm-/331519597843?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_77&hash=item4d301b9d13

The 114mm tips are way too huge for my liking. The 100mm is more acceptable. I think Asian Candy had the Fox exhaust with a vid on here somewhere.

Wish I could read that ebay post. Is it German?

Is that also a chop and weld axle back type system too? If so, I'd be more inclined to do a custom magnaflow weld on. Less of a headache.

Hmm, never looked at it closely to determine whether it's a full catback or something less. I do recall there being a Fox exhaust thread somewhere in the 2G forums though. I'd assume the answer should be there. Sound clip could also be found I think as at least one member I know of has/had it on their car. As far as I can remember, the Fox exhaust isn't some cheap hack-job exhaust and they actually make some systems for other higher end cars too. I'm still holding off for RV6 as it's not a must-buy for me right now. I'm thinking Modulo rear before exhaust.

Bottom line.. change your avatar to a sick shot of your BBK and wheel setup. Tired of looking at that gauge cluster.

Long Friday through Sunday for me coming up. I start work tomorrow at 330am and might not get off until 5pm or later. Back up and out of the house by 6am on Saturday to drive to Eugene Oregon and then back. And then back up early sundaybto work a full shift plus.

Two good things will come out of all of this. I will have my dyno tune done by Vit and I will be making a lot of OT at work

But almost zero down time.

Hey, does anybody happen to have the air intake resonator from the cu2 laying around in their garage that doesn't need it? The one that is down under the front bumper?

I need one.
