2G TSX Chat, Chit, and General Info Thread

Limited free time and cold weather (well, cold for Houston - I'm a wimp) have hindered my install. That and I need to mentally prepare myself to battle with getting the damned front bumper off.
This weekend is a definite possibility though. I'll take pics.

It will be to replace my oem headlight bulbs. The oem bulbs don't quite match the LED switchbacks and it's starting to bother me. I hate how the 5000k bulbs are ~$160 and then 4300k bulbs are ~$70. I didn't want to drop that much on just a slight color improvement. I should have bought rob's bulbs when I had the chance.
Does anyone know where I can purchase the fake wood trim that comes on the newer model TSX's? Or does anyone want to trade theirs for mine? I have the 09 trim which is a gunmetal color...
I don't think so. People do pretty "cheap" things like gun stocks and stuff. It wouldn't make much sense to do a $20 plastic stock if the dip job was $xxx. It's just a chem tank and a soluble transfer print. Some prep costs and labor but it seems pretty quick from the videos I've seen.
I'd just be guessing but I'd imagine you could do all the trim pieces for a couple hundred.

Yeah. So close to the gulf.
But what I do for work, I don't exactly always end up in the most affluent areas.... So I tend to see the not so great side of town.... everywhere.
The Lou has been on a slide ever since the early 1900s.... I'm open to moving, but no idea where I'd go anymore. I used to know, but the more I travel, the less I want to be anywhere else... It's counter intuitive, I know, but people are people no matter where you go.

Had VSA off and the roads were a little wet. Was only going 15-20 from a stop turning left and was wondering why the steering felt so unresponsive. Probably the slowest hydroplane ever but it moved me into the next lane. Thank God no one was next to me. Never again.
