So, the Madden NFL 15 game simulation on the XBox correctly predicted the Pats win. Scary part was that it predicted a 28-24 outcome.

Seahawks fucked up hard. Epic loss. I was rooting for them too... not that I care, but fuck the Pats; they're cheaters!

CU2wagon, have you installed the hid bulbs you bought from robpp? I am very much considering buying some new 5000k bulbs (osram or philips).

No.

Limited free time and cold weather (well, cold for Houston - I'm a wimp) have hindered my install. That and I need to mentally prepare myself to battle with getting the damned front bumper off.

This weekend is a definite possibility though. I'll take pics.

No, I picked up Rob's Philips 85122xv 5k HID low beams. But I'm slaker and haven't installed.

It will be to replace my oem headlight bulbs. The oem bulbs don't quite match the LED switchbacks and it's starting to bother me. I hate how the 5000k bulbs are ~$160 and then 4300k bulbs are ~$70. I didn't want to drop that much on just a slight color improvement. I should have bought rob's bulbs when I had the chance.

Does anyone know where I can purchase the fake wood trim that comes on the newer model TSX's? Or does anyone want to trade theirs for mine? I have the 09 trim which is a gunmetal color...

^ same, I wanted to trade with someone as well.

They have it on Acura Parts warehouse website but it's like 600-700 for all the parts.

Hydro dipping would probably work well and give a nice clean surface without having to deal with the nuances of working the vinyl around corners and edges.

I don't think so. People do pretty "cheap" things like gun stocks and stuff. It wouldn't make much sense to do a $20 plastic stock if the dip job was $xxx. It's just a chem tank and a soluble transfer print. Some prep costs and labor but it seems pretty quick from the videos I've seen.

I'd just be guessing but I'd imagine you could do all the trim pieces for a couple hundred.

Houston?

ugh.... I've been there for work... It's pretty sad, nice weather though, more or less.

But, most places are sad to me. So.... maybe that's a perception thing....

Yeah. So close to the gulf.

But what I do for work, I don't exactly always end up in the most affluent areas.... So I tend to see the not so great side of town.... everywhere.

The Lou has been on a slide ever since the early 1900s.... I'm open to moving, but no idea where I'd go anymore. I used to know, but the more I travel, the less I want to be anywhere else... It's counter intuitive, I know, but people are people no matter where you go.

Houston is hot... but at least it's humid too.

There are about 3 weeks of pleasant weather a year though, so there's that.

Had VSA off and the roads were a little wet. Was only going 15-20 from a stop turning left and was wondering why the steering felt so unresponsive. Probably the slowest hydroplane ever but it moved me into the next lane. Thank God no one was next to me. Never again.
