So I hate the graphite color of my wagon. I knew that when I bought it. I am just not a grey color fan, but whatever.


What I was surprised by, unlike black (had one black car before, never again), graphite ALWAYS looks clean. It just doesn't show dirt


So I usually wash my cars every 24 months (if I keep it that long). I QD them after each drive, and they are garaged, so looks showroom fresh. As I was QDing the Acura, I realized, it looked just as good before the drive, as after


Anyone know WHAT the light is ABOVE the reverse light on the wagon? There is 8 indentation (LED like pattern) in that light.

 

Yes. When I close my eyes all I can picture with all of these exhaust clips on here is an old civic. It needs to be much deeper to sound right to me. It just sounds very...artificial.

lol actually, I was probably the first one who contacted him about the exhaust. I was initially interested, and he took forever to respond, as if he didn't want the sale. I really wanted the exhaust at the time, especially because it's a rare piece of metal. He actually eventually wanted to talk shipping with me, but I had decided $800 shipped max, so I wasn't going to budge. I eventually decided CTE is going to be a no because it's too loud for my liking.

I'm thinking he doesn't want to ship because he hauled the thing to UPS, got an estimate, and I told him no lol

Anyone have a video? How do you guys know how it sounds? I've seen one on youtube, but the guy has like every CTE add-on including the supercharger so can't really tell.

Yeah that gray color is the best with getting away at not being washed often. Black is a pain in the ass, but I still love it.

 

Don't the covers just make it hotter under the hood. What's the point.

Covers make the car a lot quieter. Most modern luxury cars have full covers. .Though people complain and want to see the engine

 

Nothing looks clean, as good as black. But maintenance is crazy.

im tired, another 12+ in less than 7 hours. this weather has been slaughter. 15 car pile ups, 38 car pile up, multiple tractor trailers and buses. NYC was back logged 600 jobs, we had to send in jersey rigs to help. TSX almost died on the ice a few times, roads be cray

The 1G TSX isn't much different from the 2G, and neither is the Comptech exhaust for 1G compared to the one for the 2G. So I watched a few 1G TSX videos with the Comptech catback and took that with a grain of salt. Still nah for me.

Sure exhaust system geometry/layout is a bit different, but stock for stock 1G TSX and 2G TSX looks/sounds/feels very similar so this isn't a bad estimate IMO. And if you check the CTE site, both exhausts are more or less identical lol

 

Looking at prices off Honda estore, somewhere around $200 LOL
