Some of the streets in some parts of houston are Hella-Steep.. Like a wrangler would probably scrape on that shit.. I also barely make it over the curbs they put in front of parking spaces a lot.

As for the deflector, I have no idea. I just know it's there to direct the wind. No idea what's gonna happen if you take it off.

Looking to buy a nice car for $3500 or below as my first car. Found this, seems pretty good and it's an E-Class so it's reliable, only problem is that rust but I think I would get that fixed. I'd get a Pre purchase inspection ofc. This thing is a V8 275 HP, 295lbs of torque yet it gets 18 in the city and 25 highway premium gas... That's pretty amazing and I'm excited.

I knew how aweful it was when everyone was taking it freshman year, so I waited until my 5th year to take it and they offered an online course.... and to top it off there were only 3 tests total and the first two were take home and work with a partner lmfao. I went into the final with a 98% and failed the shit out of it in 10 minutes and walked out of the room, graduated and made a B+ in the course. It was honestly the most gratifying feeling to not give a shit about the final!

I was going to get the Goodyear ones from Costco since it's dirt cheap, but if there were some that were better performance wise and cost a little more (less than 20) I wouldn't mind going that route.

How does it compare to the TSX?

After seeing a few in person, it definitely looks pretty meh. Only way it looks good is with the aero kit and premium wheels but then it's too expensive for it's own good.

Acura needs to step up their game.. They have nothing enticing right now other then the new NSX whenever that comes out.

The dealer demo was a Black V6 Tech FWD with the premium 19" wheels and the aero kit. Looked great, the only problem was with those options is that it's $45k.. I'm not sure if that includes the dealer installation for the aero kit either. SHAWD is like 46-47k with the aero kit and wheels. Foglights are another $500. I can buy a BMW 335i M Sport with some options for $50-51k and have tuned to 370 hp/392 tq for $2k (with a warranty matching the rest of the length of the car's warranty). I could dump $4k into the TLX and reach maybe 320-340bhp. I could dump 4k into a 335i or S4 and get 400bhp+. Acura needs to come out with a Type S TLX.

 

I prefer the TSX over it. Like the whole time I was driving it I was trying to find something that I like about it, but nothing came lol
