You can fit a bigger than 51r battery in the tray that's already there i think. But no point, just get a better rated battery.
so gay. so tried starting the car, *click* *click* *click* *click* *click*
most battery CCA ratings are 500, but i would assume it would still be better than the OEM
VTEC just kicked in, yo!
wait wtf.. your car won't turn over in 60 F temps? maybe the battery is just dead on its own not cuz of a low CCA rating... or you're having issues with your alternator (I'm doubting the latter since your car is pretty new). My car sometimes struggles to turn on, but only really in the winter ( -20 C weather).
its the original battery from 2011 so i dunno.
this is what im getting

Everyday I'm rofling
My battery died on my 2011 this past winter. It was having a little trouble starting with the headlights on for a few months then it wouldn't start at all one day. It was around 40°F out which is cold here.

so, In N Out Burger did a pop up shop in Toronto today... apparently the event was supposed to run from 10am or 11am to 3pm. People started lining up since 7am this morning, and by 11am they were already sold out.
... is this THE burger to have?
I'm pretty sure they're testing the waters here in Toronto. Given so much success, I wouldn't be surprised to see a restaurant here within a couple of years.

Its good.... bu it's not THAT good
wat icrap said.
probably all the hype since its mostly a california thing and toronto fans realize in n out will be the closest they get to getting something as good as the kings, sharks, and ducks.

It was blinking which means the revs were too high (they aren't, that stupid thing just refuses to downshift if its above like 5k). When i slowed down some more it finally shifted

ahhh yes you're right. it thinks you're gonna blow up the engine
TSX AMG Type //M i-VVT
^ lol yes that.

More like danger to transmission.
Low for this Saturday is 45 :0 I thought it was still summer!

it is, i'm still roasting over here.
and danger to the engine if you over-rev it lol not the manifold or trans.

I wanna play the 0-60 game too~ Too bad there's too much traffic for me to do it on my way to/from class
TSX AMG Type //M i-VVT
I take all back roads so I usually have some open space although today a cop was in front me going 20 mph... so i had to go really slow for a while lol.
so car is starting up consistently, but it seems like its not starting up as fast as i want?

It would equally fuck the trans and engine right? Over revving / money shifting the engine is gonna blow it up lol.

Hard to say since you're rolling already. TSX doesn't seem all that slow when you floor it from 20 onwards. Might be half a second faster?
What we should compare it to is ssjoesuperchargedho.

naahhhh not necessarily...
Your engine only blows up really if you are running WAYYY too hot, it stresses all the components to its max until something breaks, or deforms, and then its just a chain reaction because everything is connected.
Downshifting into a gear set at too high of a speed would mess up the transmission by stripping the gear, which in turn would cause other gears to get ff'd cause now there's metal chunks flying around, then could make the entire transmission lock and break a shaft than blah blah blah... but basically there is a long line of things that would have to happen in a particular order for your actual engine to blow up. It's always possible tho...

Yeah but say you're in 3rd gear 6k RPM and go for 4th, miss that and hit 2nd. I'm pretty sure the engine is done, no?
ROTAREDOM
I mean it's possible don't get me wrong
But you gotta remember the system, when you downshift you are telling your transmission that you don't want the same gear ratio which you had before, you want a larger gear that that will produce more torque at the same RPM( why does your RPM go up when you downshift? Because you have a larger gear turning the same size shaft but has to do less revolutions to get it going the same speed) When you put it at a waaaaay higher speed than it should be turning things crash, strip etc...
And all this power transfer is through the clutch as well, so you have to get through all of that too.

Anyone else ever had the "Check VSA System" warning pop up? Mine randomly came up as I was heading up the floors of my school's parking garage... Decided to try the good ol "Did you turn it off and turn it back on?" but the it was still there. Not that I use VSA(I turn it off every time I get in the car), but wanna see what's up :\
