Every friday night, I attend an SI meet.
they are fun little cars! I'm biased tho and love the sedans more than the coupe counterparts.

I actually really like the new Mazda design language...
I think that it's much better than when Acura went with it's new design language or even the new Lexus design language with their new spindle grille too...

Yeah I like the sedan more too...
I feel if it has two doors it should only have 2 seats.

I vote for AWD or RWD. There's only so much you can do with FWD. Outgoing STi with low milage can be had for the mid $20Ks

Not sure of the quality of the newer SI's but I rode in a 2010 base and the road noise was horrible lol pieces of the trim were also creeping out of it's place

There is way too much to catch up on here after having hardly been on here for the past 7 days while on vacation.

I'm in a tiny town right now in NM and have seen nothing but endless desert for the past 10 hours. I was in Albuquerque this morning and got to see a few of the filming locations for Breaking Bad. It was exciting.

Drove up to Angel Fire, NM and stayed in a cabin with my family, cousins, and aunts/uncles. We went white water rafting, horse back riding, mountain biking and other random things. Now we are on our way back and taking the long way to see some sights. Today is Carlsbad Caverns and tomorrow we'll be home.

I've got the 2.4...I wanted the low monthly payments associated with the 4. Given the dyno results, and the fact that I want a tad bit more power (like 10hp on this would be perfect), I think it was worth it.

Hopefully by the time you have enough there's gonna be a ECU solution for the 12's.

Well, I plan on going s/c...but a smaller pulley and bigger injectors...basically a stage 2 setup. If I get 22hp from i/h/e/tune + another 65 from stage 2 s/c, I'm pretty sure I'll be at low/mid 14s in this damn auto. Then it's just a function of finding light weight components. I think 13s isn't possible in the auto, but it's not gonna stop me from trying.

I'm almost fully bolted, with about 250 wheel hp.
i'm still not in 13's

waiting for my ECU to get here, which should bump me up to 270 wheel horsies.

I'm 6MT 2006 TL. 258hp CRANK.
dyno'd stock at 230wheel horse power.

weight might be a factor. my car is 3500lbs stock.
I did lighten it maybe 80-100lbs tho.

^you should be really really close...the type-s with good driver can get 14.1, and def high 13s with mods...and the power levels of the two (stock type-s and your car) are very similar.

with mods, both cars cant get past mid 13s

my car stock should be able to 13.9
but i'm a horrible driver with the clutch.
its not the power, but its the delivery thats the problem.
I have super sticky summer tires on. Direzza star specs z1's.

a stock 6MT TL Type-S dyno's at 250wheel horse power.

Inaccurate is the one who started the diet thread. he lives here in houston with me.
He beat a Camaro SS by like 5 car lengths. a 10-90mph roll
