My street on a nice sunny day courtesy of Google Maps

My street yesterday at around 9AM after an 18 hour shift at work.. had to walk half a mile in knee/waist deep snow because roads weren't clean yet. Post-Blizzard

Anyone wanna go outside?

My car is still in the garage at work. No public transportation until Monday. My street still hasn't been plowed. FML

Yeah man.
It was so bad out I was scheduled to work 3pm-11pm but had to stay until 8AM because my relief had no way to get to work. Then in the morning they dispatched someone from headquarters to pick up & drop people off. Most streets were still being cleaned so I was dropped off at the nearest main street near my house.
Walking in 2 feet of snow is no fun at all!
It felt like a scene out of "The Day After Tomorrow" Lol
