Quote: i love peanut mm's. My brother (19), me and his three friends went to a 7-mile fair once and it was pretty ghetto but they said it was good deals, seems like most of the stuff was 'legit'. This hispanic guy was selling 3 packs of peanut mm big bags for $1, I bought $5 worth of bags so 21 bags and I fit about half in my pocket and they also bought some. Best deal ever. I wish I could gone back and got more but im sure his "truckload" (he was selling out of a truck) is probably sold out by now.
That is one heck of a peanut mm story! I hope to one day stumble upon a holy grail like you did.

Thanks y'all! I had a Speed3 before trading it in for the TSX. The funny thing is that the girl who bought my Speed3 lives near by and we occasionally see each other on the road. I like the RX8 because it's a rotary. For anyone with an engineering background, you have to own a rotary at least once in your lifetime to appreciate the simplicity, the revs, and smoothness of this tiny engine. Besides, there's no other car on the road that looks like it. And yes, red was a great color and got way too much attention, some good some not so good

P.S. Post #1001 now Mr.Stak

Thanks Simon. I am ok. Just a battered ego that's all. No worries though, a new build is in the process and you guys will definitely approve of the final product 2-3 months from now

first thing on the new car, make sure it can handle fast turns! time for suspension, sway bars, and some wide sticky tires!

New coils are on order. Tires are just fine. Don't forget, this is winter time here in the MD so cold tires and poor road surface will always be the case. If anything the car was setup too well like a go-kart. If the suspension was softer, I would have not been so confident in pushing it so hard into the corner. Regardless, driver error on my part. Live and learn to be more aware next time. That's the best upgrade I can make

Damn I'm gonna miss the red one. Red is so flashy. But I believe you will make the silver look good as well.

You're alive, that's all that matters.

Thanks to everyone for their concern and well wishes. I too missed the R3. Even the cops who came to the scene were like "Damn, that's one nice car..." Butt, the silver GT is getting a R3 make over at the moment. The fact that silver R3s were never introduced to the states would make it a very cool build. So far, I swapped out the seats today and the silver GT has a full matching Recaro interior now. Below is my list of to dos:

- Refinish Volks in matching silver with polished lip
- Powder coat BBK calipers to silver
- Swap over Racing Beat exhaust
- Install new PowerTrix Coilovers
- Order factory painted R3 bumpers and side skirts from Japan (JDMPartsOnline)
- Rewrap steering wheel, shift knob e-brake handle in black alcantera
- Build custom center mount sub like the GT-R to put a lil bump in the system
- S/C kit when Petit Racing can figure out how to tune it on the series II RX8.

@ Odus.. "yes, she's really nice.." (Borat voice)

I can tell you this Odus.. The R3 is definitely not something you want as a daily driver. It's great as a 2nd or weekend fun car.

hahaha this is fucking hilarious!!

This happened to me TWICE! The second time I dropped it off I was like are you sure you have the parts?? "Yes Joe, they are here. Look, I'll pull it up right here. See it's in our inventory."

5 hours later I get a call that they can't find the parts. What a joke!

I literally got my trim replaced yesterday, after they ordered the parts again for the 3rd time.

They do look much better though. No more CF vinyl on them either lol

Why not? Gas mileage? Hot starts?

I always loved the RX7 and the RX8 is starting to grow on me.
