2G Euro Accord shift knob

Hi,

I've searched the forums but can't find if anyone has mentioned where you can purchase the shift knob for the 2G Euro Accord. So if you know where I can buy this please let me know.

Thanks,

Jay

Thanks 09TSXTECH...

Thanks for the info. Any idea where I can find the one that comes stock in the Euro Accord? It's not as fancy as your, just a leather wrapped knob, no aluminum/metal.

I'm looking for the same one as born2blaze...

Thanks again.

Contact Lings at their site and they should be able to give you a quote.

Mind you, another forum member SilverCU2 from the UK has a 6MT model and he doesn't like the feel of the stock shift knob, depending on the price, you may want to get the sports one which is more ergonomic than the stock one.

Another option may be going to the local Acura dealer and ask for the new TL SH-AWD 6MT knob, it looks very similar to the Euro Accord one, and may fit the TSX.

I posted a message a while ago asking the same question. I contacted Lings but they couldn't provide the stock Euro/UK knob. I went as far as to contact a UK Honda dealer but they said there were too many model cars to know which knob I wanted. I wasn't quite sure what they meant, but they seemed reluctant to want to ship something they weren't absolutely sure of.

As far as I can tell, there are three knobs. The TSX manual shifter in the US, 09TSXTech's above, and the stock Euro/UK we both want.

I have family in the UK and I'm thinking of just asking them to go to the dealership, buy one and then send it over. Other than that, let me know if you find a better way of tracking one down.

I also thought of getting the TL manual shift knob. It looks almost the same as the Euro knob.

Thanks born2blaze..

Thanks born2blaze, the part number would be very helpful.

09TSXTECH/Omega751,

I received a reply from Lings, they gave the part number as 54102-S2A-040. I googled this and it's actually the part number for the S2000 shift lever. I believe the TSX and S2000 share the same shift knob, except the S2000 has red numbering.

Thanks guys for your input.

54102-S2A-040 is actually our shift knob part #. They have two different shift knobs depending on the trim level for European Accord, the one born2blaze has and the other is what we have here in North America. That same knob is used in S2000 as well as Civic Si. Good Luck.

Sad news... My shift knob is avaiable, part number is: 54102-TL0-L02ZA but the price is freaky. It costs 740 polish zloty, + 22% tax its 902,80 polish zloty, so it will be 292 $ US.

Have a great weekend.

Wow, that's one expensive shift knob. Even Lings is selling it for £176 which is around US$280 plus s/h will be around $340. My sports one cost £65 or US$105 plus s/h and I find it much more comfortable to grip.

That car belongs to rsjapan from Switzerland, he drives an Accord Tourer. I like the red hazard button too, Marcus is selling that at HeelToe for $40 if you are interested.
