2013 Honda Accord Pricing

At least you can still get a 6MT, that's awesome IMO.
I'm confused by this though:
Does the Accord no longer have double-wishbone, or is it just that whoever wrote the article doesn't know the difference between strut and shock?
EDIT: booo! They went to a strut setup for '13 -- lame! http://automobiles.honda.com/news/pr...rticle=6825-en

The Accord Sport targets younger buyers with the addition of 18-inch alloy wheels, fog lights,10-way power driver's seats, a decklid spoiler, dual chrome exhaust finishers, paddle shifters (on CVT models), a stiffer tower strut bar and exclusive suspension and steering tuning.

Looks great though, and not very expensive. I could see how more people would consider it vs a 3-series beemer or an Audi. I am also glad I got the TSX while I could though.

In the last week, I've read a lot of articles about the '13 Accord. So far, I'm quite impressed and think Honda has a real winner on its hands. Can't wait to see what Acura does with the '14 TL(X).

took the sport 6mt for a spin, i will be getting it in a few months. i never thought i'd consider a 4 banger in a car. but, due to fuel price volatily and longer commutes i would rather play it safe. besides for the price looks and performance of the manual sport model is a no brainer.

My track car is a 3rd gen Prelude, and with it I've learned first hand what proper dynamic camber control feels like. From the factory the front end just grips and grips in situations where a strut front end would've given up.
I believe now, the current TSX is the cheapest 2013 Honda product you can buy new with double wishbone front suspension. It is said that the rumored "TLX" is based on the 2013 Accord. When and if the TSX and TL are replaced by it, the RLX will be the only new Honda with double wishbones up front.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of this either. Though I admit the vast majority of drivers will probably never notice the shortcomings of MacP struts versus double wishbones, as a matter of principle it sucks that Honda has strayed away from this.

Who's taking an Accord to the track anyway? The new system is lighter, cheaper, less complicated, and easier to package which allows for more interior room...what most people want.
