Incorrect. It is the next gen Euro Acura that wont be released in Europe until 2018 but is already here as the 2013 TSX

 

I think the only change from 2012 to 2013 is that you can get Milano Red (or whatever they call it these days) on regular TSX models instead of SE-only.

 

no dude, thats the 2013 TSX SE. its the special edition because its european. the regular 2013 is made in america, and even has a flag stamped into the underside of the hood instead of a heatshield. they even made the joke that SE stands for "SOOOOOO European" so is read as a homosexual so as to stick with the idea of "is he european or is he gay" from legally blonde on broadway

 

Some of the navi functions will be locked out while the vehicle is in motion on the '13, while all functions will always be accessible on the '12.

On a more serious note, you're right. AFAIK there are only small changes like the colors and the new lockout in the nav - that's been on Hondas for years.

it had something to do with the lambo door mechanism that they built in to the '13. ed can correct me if i'm wrong but i think it had to do with needing a gap for the air compressor shaft.

 

lambo door mechanism is correct. remember that on the base TSX only the drivers door is lambo'ed. tech pack is required for the other 3 doors

I'm not so sure about this... I know the MacPherso suspension is on the 2013 Accord but I don't believe it's on the 2013 TSX

This is not correct. The software did change on new 2013 ILX & RDX models now locking you out of a lot of functions in motion, BUT 2013 TSX, TL, MDX and ZDX remain exactly as in 2012 and before, and have no lock out set. My current demo is a 2013 TSX Tech and there is zero difference from 2012 functionality, and the same for those other models.


This happened on the 2013 TL and MDX, but every 2013 TSX we've received still says "ACURA" on the trunk despite reports. Unsure if it will be done later or just not happen yet on the 2013 TSX.
