This is OEM and it's bolted in. You can open the trunk and you will see the cap nut on the side.

does anyone know how the DVD navigation stores onto the hard disk?

I was was reading this statement

"Hard Disc Drive
The TSX has a new hard disk drive (HDD) media storage space with 15-gigabytes of storage capacity dedicated to music storage (the balance of the HDD's 60-gigabyte total storage capacity is used for the navigation system). The hard drive's fast file-access time speeds search and retrieval of audio tracks, and allows tracks to be shuffled by album, artist and genre"

Nav unit copies or extracts data from the DVD to the HDD. Once the process is complete, it takes a few hours you no longer need the dvd to use the Nav.

This forum is pretty great. You have people busting out diagrams and what not all the time.

I've been on other forums where the solution is "put some WD-40 on it" 90% of the time.

Yes. The disc slot in the dash is where you'd load the disc.

so it's just a single multiplayer unit? Also how long dies it take for DVD to download?

is there away I can find what year is the nav map update?

the car didn't come with the original disc so I can't verify. I did find the verdin number on nav setting but don't have a reference to check.

one thing I noticed when putting car on reverse driver mirror does not tilt even when switching the button. Does both passenger and driver tilt and is there a way both can tilt at same time?

thanks

Yes. Just the one slot. Sorry, can't help about the time to download; I've never done that.

I bought my car new and it didn't come with a nav disc. I'm not sure that's a thing. I think you'll only get a disc if you pay for the upgraded nav map.

Your observation about the side view mirrors in reverse is correct. Only the passenger side will tilt, and only if the mirror adjust selector switch is on "R" (or "P" or however it is that they annotate the passenger side). If you've got the adjust selector in the middle or on the driver side neither mirror will tilt.

Hi guys,

I wasn't able to get some info regarding the following issues that I found out while driving the car for couple days.

1. I noticed when making a call or picking up a call while bluetooth streaming is on when trying to hang up it takes long time to hang up and the car disconnects the bluetooth only way to get it back is to research for the phone or turn off the car. Also bluetooth streaming disconnects and connects back while streaming via bluetooth with iPhone 7 plus.

2. At slow speeds lets say stop and go on the freeway while under 20mph when you accelerate and let go of the gas the car kinda holds back kinda like engine breaking is it because its on 1st gear is that normal?

Over all I'm very happy with the car

Thanks

Thanks

Just the passenger side, because far and away more people parallel park with the curb on the passenger side.
