2010 TSX Tech Price Advice
Hey everyone,
I am new to Acura and Acurazine. I've been quietly reading the conversations over the past few months while contemplating a purchase. I think I have negotiated a reasonable deal but would appreciate any comments or advice. I'm looking forward to being a part of this online community.
2010 TSX Tech 4 cylinder
Atlanta, GA market
Grigio with Black interior
Wheel locks, splash guards, trunk liner, and all-weather floor mats included in deal.
$29,899 (inclusive of dealer fees) + local sales tax and standard tag/title fees.
P.S. I'm also curious as to what others think of Grigio/Ebony vs Grigio/Parchment color combinations... it's been a tough decision for me!
Many thanks,
Brandon

I purchased a polished metal metallic TSX tech with ebony interior, and I thought that the parchment interior looked too yellow - it looked really bright on the dealer's lot and not in a good way.
It's your personal choice, of course, but my dealer also said that they are eliminating the parchment interior for 2010 (maybe because it's not too popular), although I haven't confirmed that fact. However, if you do get parchment, consider the interior trim package/kit which swaps out the silver metallic trim for black, which I think looks better with the two-tone color interiors like parchment. There are some good pictures here:

It's not too expensive and you can install it yourself (apparently) if you're handy and adventurous.

I forgot to mention that My dealer also offered a price of $28,911 for a 2010 TSX tech with wheel locks and floor mats, but no all-weather mats and trunk tray (the latter I'm getting online for about $83). I've posted elsewhere about the Costco no-hassle car price program that many Acura dealers (and other brands) participate in. If you're a Costco member, you should check it out on their website - you might save some money.
I'm very happy with my car so far (two weeks) - on a regular basis I drive a 2010 BMW 328i with the sport package, and while it's undeniable that it's a great driving experience (and has cool metal paddle shifters that feel better than the plastic shifters in the TSX), I find my TSX fun/enjoyable in so many other ways (cooler interior, more gadgets), easier to drive, roomier in the backseat, and pleasantly/sufficiently peppy. The trunk is also better shaped with a wider opening and fold-down rear seats.
