Sounds like a good deal to me. Yellow light, well they are honest they could have just pressed the button and faked it.

Dealer or private?

Curious what the upgrade is on the Tech model. I know the tech has back-up camera and navigation, anything else?
I like the navi on our TL but, the camera is really a novelty.

Good price for a good car. Low mileage is key. Is this a 6MT or a 5AT? How many owners?

Tech is a must in the TSX. It has upgraded 10 speaker system/better system overall, navigation (Traffic report & weather report), backup camera, voice command features... it is worth an additional $1,200 plus it looks clean vs the base... if you want the base, you might as well just get a brand new 2011 Honda Accord for $19K. My friend paid that and got leather seats in the mix too...

If I could find a tech TSX in comparable shape to this base model for $1200 more, I'd go for it. Everyone I've seen is $3K+ more or bad Carfax.

Thanks, long road with lung ca, over 10 years...

Yeah, I understand they are hard to find... Look at a 2009 Infiniti G35 too. Since they fazed that model out, you'll probably get a good deal

I bet it was a long journey - - have a sister and best friend who went through similar battles and it was amazing to see how strong the human spirit really is...

Where do you live? I do know of one for sale with tech for a bit more. Private owner, 1 owner and has the 120k 8 Year Acura care with it.

I drove an '09 Accord Coupe EX-L with I4 & A/T for comparison at an even better price than the TSX.
I thought these two have the same powerplant & tranny but, the Accord was very sluggish and didn't respond nearly as well as the TSX, neither from a stop or hitting the gas on the freeway.
Maybe the Accord needed work or maintenance?
Gonna try the V6 Accord before making a final decision but, prefer the MPGs on the I4.

Infiniti G35 sedan (current bodystyle) 2007-2008.
Infiniti G37 sedan 2009-current.

You wont find a 2009 sedan for less than around 20. Will be mid 20s at least. Plus, totally different car than the TSX.

No Infiniti

I has an Infiniti in the late '90s and wasn't particularly impressed, nothing bad, just ho-hum.

Really in a quandary now, this base TSX is now being offered to me for $18,250 but, I drove a couple tach models and really liked the tech version!

Uggghhh

Yeah.. that Tech version is impressive! The Screen is bright and colorful vs the base model where you feel like you're looking at a old digital alarm clock the whole time...lol

I've managed quite well without the tech package. Sure I wouldn't mind having it, but it's not the end of the world. $18k for a used '09 is not a bad deal at all.

How much have people paid for an '09 TSX Tech A/T w/30k miles? I'm looking at a CPO tomorrow and want to know what I should offer!

are you worried about the cons of buying a used car? im also considering a used car but ive always bought new. ive seen some CPO go as much as a new car which is stupid.
