The headlights don't come adjusted from Honda, so they need proper adjusting. That is why you are probably seeing your low beam lower than it should be.
But the high beam part is true. High beam will be brighter since it's hid, but its more focused as it's going through a projector and not widespread as a reflector bowl.

I had the dealer adjust mine and what they did is set the headlight adjuster switch to 2, and then align the headlights correctly.
So I can go up or down with the adjuster if need be.

Did the US dollar get stronger? I put in the headlights and the final price with shipping is £436.74. Currency converter puts that to 545.31 shipped.

I did. I got to the site and found the parts and went to the cart.

Comes out to 545 bucks. I think I did it right.

That is correct. It's better pricing anywhere I found actually. Please add comment "bubble wrap package before shipping"

Has anyone changed any of the bixenon bulbs? I decided to save money and not get the harness that includes working intersection lights (so they function as parking lights now), and I realize they're quite blinding (and rightfully so, given their original intentions); much like high beams but on the side haha. Thinking of switching them out to LEDs to not blind people as much, and maybe go with a less halogen-y look.

On that topic, has anyone changed any of the bulbs besides the D2S low beams? i.e., intersection lights, turn signals, parking lights (the "blue" tinted strip). If so, what did you get?

I used the following:

HIDs: Osram Xenarc 66240 Nightbreaker
Interestion lights: OEM from bixenon headlights
Turn Signals: OEM from bixenon headlights
Parking Lights ("blue" tinted strip): T10/194: Osram LEDriving Cool White

Yes, it does blind other people but people sees the light when doing your head check.

Thanks!

Yeah the intersection lights definitely serve a purpose no doubt. I just feel bad when I'm sitting in traffic or cruising at the same speed as the next guy on the freeway at night, and my lights intersection lights are blinding the side of their eyes lmao, since mine function as parking lights and will forever be on as long as my low beams are on.

Do the T10/194 Osram LEDriving Cool Whites need any special adaptor to fit? Any resistors or anything else needed?

Lastly, is your above-mentioned setup part of your air ride teaser vid?

No special adapter is needed but these are bipolar and only lights up when plugged in correctly so don't freak out when it doesn't work first try. I think this happens to all T10/194 style bulbs, someone correct me if I am wrong.

Yes the video https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2O...NGLXdmRzg/view has all the bulbs installed. I bought all the bulbs before hand then install all at once, I wasn't too worried about the intersection lights and blinkers as I am planning to do LEDs for the intersection lights and LED strips for the blinkers later in the year.

Leveling

Hello,

Did you find any issues leveling out the beam? I have a set but they are not shooting level. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Do you have the leveling harness plugged in? Harness is available here: CU2/CW2 CUSTOM PLUG AND PLAY HEADLIGHT HARNESS

Or you could manually adjust the beam by the bolts on the headlights.

Thanks for the info. Funny, just purchased the harness and switch. Also, purchased the plug and play harness. Wanted to get the corning lights to work. Have you installed yours yet? Any chance you can pinpoint the adjusting bolt on yours if you haven't installed yet? Appreciate the response and the info given.
Liked to see some pics if they have been installed.

Thanks again.

Installed lights with "Ratchet" harness and switch with working corning lights last year.

I am not sure how to manually adjust the headlights and I am thinking you can fuss around this bolt here:

You can ask kostantinos as he went to a dealer to adjust the headlights with the headlight switch.

It's actually the beige one near the bottom. Turn that with a 5mm socket and it will raise/lower the beam.

Thanks guys for the help. Worked as mentioned. Still have a funny step down. Beam is level then angles down then flat again. I think maybe the return wire is not facing down. I will need to check it.
Thanks again for your advice.

Maybe its program to be at "OEM height" and now that you adjusted it via the 5mm bolt it goes down then back up to your adjusted angle? Would be helpful if kostantinos could give us any information on his adjustment at the dealership.

That's normal, it's designed that way so you don't blind oncoming traffic.
